Ingredients
- 1 English Cucumber
- 1/2 Bunch Celery
- 1/2 Bunch of Lacinato or Dino Kale
- 1/2 Lemon Peeled
- 2-3 Apples
- Optional add ins: small handful of cilantro, parsley or dandelion OR 1 small nub of ginger.
Instructions
- Cut up all ingredients and put through a good quality juicer, to get the best yield an auger style juicer works very well.
- Drink immediately or store in airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
- Note: It is important to drink green juice on an empty stomach, this will ensure that the nutrients are absorbed by the body in the most efficient way possible. It is also recommended that you don’t eat for at least an hour after consuming the green juice. Many people claim that it is also important to chew or swish your green juice in your mouth before swallowing. There are enzymes in your saliva that prepare the body to absorb all of the wonderful nutrients.
