The world of medicine is changing and with it, the way we are going to be diagnosing people’s conditions. The first step toward helping ourselves and our children recover from disease and reaching our highest states of health is getting a clear diagnosis you can trust when we get sick.
A few months ago, I developed a video course about the basic ways everyone can see themselves, not in terms of conceptual diagnosis but the actual physiological processes that underlie all diseases. It is one thing to give a disease a name, i.e. Cancer or Alzheimer’s and thousands of other official diagnostic labels and another thing to look at each person’s breathing rate, blood pressure, blood glucose levels, oxidative stress levels, body temperature, pH levels of urine and saliva, heart rate variability, EKG patterns, stress levels, hydration, oxygen levels in the blood, toxicity issues and vital nutritional deficiencies.
To tell a person they have cancer or any other disease does not tell a person anything at all about what to do about their disease leaving them at the mercy of what doctors think they should do, meaning what government officials and pharmaceutical companies think they should do right or wrong. This gets many people killed by a medical system driven by greed and pharmaceutical terrorism, which is one of the nastiest things to happen to the human race.
However, when one looks under the hood of a disease and looks at these above medical and health parameters, it becomes a different story. Then we discover much we can do that is positive and helpful rather than toxic and dangerous. Then we can save lives and revolutionize medicine.
Wearable Health Technology
In a few years, every diabetic will have one of these medical wristbands, everyone with medical insurance, everyone interested in their health and living longer. This is the ultimate biofeedback device, which is beyond its infancy and destined to evolve because new programs and functions will be added in the future.
At the end of this year, it is blood glucose monitoring that will be added! Imagine being able to monitor your blood sugar in real time to see what that last meal did to your glucose levels or have an emergency signal go out to your doctor and spouse if you are in danger of going into a diabetic coma.
The ApP Lite Biosensor by Toshiba is at the core of the HELO LX and uses PPG to non-invasively make measurements at the skin surface. The PPG creates waveforms that comprise of a pulsatile ‘AC’ physiological waveform attributed to cardiac synchronous changes in the blood volume with each heartbeat. This then is superimposed on a slowly varying ‘DC’ baseline with various lower frequency components attributed to respiration, sympathetic nervous system activity and thermoregulation.
Health devices based on PPG technology are widely used in various applications in the clinical set up. Specific applications include the following:
- Clinical physiological monitoring
- Blood oxygen saturation
- Blood pressure
- Cardiac output
- Heart rate – Pulse rate
- Respiration – Breath rate
- Vascular assessment
- Arterial disease
- Arterial compliance and ageing
- Venous assessment
- Endothelial function
- Microvascular blood flow
- Vasospastic conditions
- Autonomic function monitoring
- Vasomotor function and thermoregulation
- Blood pressure and heart rate variability
- Orthostatic assessment
Other cardiovascular variability assessments and estimations such as:
- Blood alcohol
- Blood sugar
Next year (or sooner) I will launch Helosmartusers.com, because as you can see below in the information about my first online video course called First Consultation, I am well situated to teach doctors and patients what to do with the information collected by the Helo.
The Helo will collect all your vital signs and more across the days, weeks and months, right from your wrist, downloading all the data to your cell phone, as well as doctor and loved ones who can then monitor your wellbeing and respond in case of emergencies.
Imagine being rolled unconscious into an emergency room where a doctor can now take a band off your wrist and plug it into a monitor to see exactly what has been happening to you in recent days so there is no guessing if you are unconscious. Every year over 400,000 people die from medical errors. Doctors need accurate information about your health condition especially in emergency situations. First responders need to know who you are even if you cannot talk.
Dr. Sasson Moulavi sees this technology as an incredible breakthrough in anti-aging and agrees that emergency personal will benefit seeing medical and health data of the days before admittance. “How many lives can be saved if we had data that unconscious patient cannot provide?”
Doctors who understand the importance of vital signs including breathing and stress patterns will be in a much better position to help their patients. Children and their parents are going to become more self-aware about the things that affect their well-being. “Can you imagine having a meal and at the end of the meal you get an alarm (and your doctor gets the same alarm) that you your blood glucose level spiked a mile high (even if you do not have diabetes)? Is that going to change your behavior,” asks Dr. Moulavi.
Seeing is believing, numbers are numbers, which will make it more difficult to just do as we please and get away with it. We will know which foods are good for us, the quantities because when we do wrong things for ourselves our vital signs change almost instantly in response to inappropriate foods and external stress.
Moulavi says, “The Helo is the best lifestyle intervention machine ever invented.” Through adjustments in lifestyle, by paying attention to one’s vital signs in real time, he believes life span can be greatly enhanced making the Helo the ultimate in life extension and thus disease prevention.
The Helo wearable diagnostic device can help build better habits and nutritional understanding passing on stronger genes to future generations he says. It will help us and our healthcare providers actualize the long known fact that our food is our medicine. If we can get our children to wear a Helo to help them develop better habits, eat better, think better about themselves—aren’t they going to do better on tests and achieve more in life including living longer with better health.
To be sure parents will love the fact that they can look at the sugar intake of their children and see what it is doing to them and then have the informational power to affect their children’s eating behavior. The Helo is the ultimate feedback device that has the capacity to share data with those who care for us. Not only can we learn to see ourselves in new ways but can allow others who love us to see deep into our vital signs including mood and stress levels.
Below is what my staff put together to promote my Video Course – First Consultation. I encourage all my readers to study the basics of diagnosis and catch the wave of this new diagnostic technology. It is also a great business opportunity because really, just like computers and smartphones, everyone in the years to come will probably have one. Though doctors will have many of their functions replaced, like the yearly checkup, they and other healthcare professionals can do very well by signing up everyone on their databases to the Helo and better health.
First Consultation – Learning Basic Diagnosis
Today more than ever before, we need new ways to diagnose and treat our families and ourselves. How many times have you been to your doctor and left the clinic feeling that you do not have enough information to do anything effective for your health? How much time have you spend on internet reading about diseases, medicinals, doctors and end up feeling more confused and “sick” than before?
Dr. Sircus has ended the confusion by putting 12 simple points of diagnosis in your hands that will clarify what your actually condition is and what to do about it. These diagnostic points take you under the hood of your condition, they take you beyond the conceptual diagnostic land of regular doctors into the land of milk and honey where you can actually understand what is going on inside you and your children, which of course gives you clear pathways in terms of treatment.
This is an opportunity to learn to become a better expert than your doctor is. Twelve simple self-tests to check your body’s overall health condition. The difference between a western diagnosis that your doctor gives after giving you a battery of tests and these 12 diagnostic perspectives is that one enslaves you to doctors and their treatments and the other gives you enough information about your body for you start to take control of it.
Western medical diagnosis is not descriptive; they do not give any view whatsoever of the underlying dynamics of a person’s disease. To be diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease or Alzheimer’s, for example, is to be given a diagnostic label that is rarely helpful and rarely does it lead to a cure.
