Shamans are not sorcerers, they are real men and women that can get in the states of higher consciousness, and are able to perceive and communicate in ways not possible under normal conditions. Through a challenging training, shamans are able to lead the high awareness during what were they separate the physical body and make journeys in their inner world not affected by the weather. The shaman makes a very clear distinction between the medicine of the body and that of the spirit and sees them as complementary. If a man comes home with an arrow in the foot, it is not the time to go into a trance. It is time to remove the arrow from the wound to stop the bleeding, prevent infection […] Read More

Anecdotal evidence for cannabis as cancer treatment just keeps getting stronger. Research in human cells and animal models shows that there are four primary ways cannabis kills cancer. Yet, there has yet to be finished trials that put the herb to the test in humans. Regardless of this lack of clinical trials, patients like Stan Rutner are taking their cancer treatment into their own hands. The best part? They’re finding success. Here’s how one elderly man with terminal cancer left the hospital after cannabis oil treatment. Stan Rutner’s story Stan Rutner received his first cancer diagnosis 25 years ago. He had non-Hodgkin lymphoma when he was in his 50s. After six months of standard cancer treatment, his lymphoma went into remission. Yet, when he was […] Read More
By Adrienne Goff Do you ever wish you had a magic wand? Personally, I’d like one that can poof away unpleasant things, such as bills, anxiety, and cellulite. My ideal magic wand would also bestow metaphysical superpowers and beam me onto friendly starships. Though I have yet to find a magic wand like in the storybooks, the crystal kingdom has a version that comes close–the Kyanite wand. Kyanite is a high vibration stone that has a striated structure, which means that it has parallel grooves or recesses down the length of the stone. These striations act as amplifying channels that transmit higher frequencies of light into the human auric field. Kyanite literally acts like a wand that can deliver refined, spiritual energy for clearing, healing, balance, activation, and […] Read More
by Paul Fassa Health Impact News Can you imagine a healing methodology that uses a lamp with a 60 or so watt bulb and several different color gels that are effective and can be applied by anyone, and was used for two decades by American MDs? Seems far fetched to many, even New Age woo-woo perhaps. But it exists now only as an inexpensive do-it-yourself in-home process. Spectro-Chrome Light Therapy was proving to be a medical miracle as an extremely successful non-invasive, non-toxic remedy for rapidly resolving many medical maladies. Then the AMA and FDA combined their forces in the late 1940s to crush it. Of course, to this day many would reject the notion of colored light applications to appropriate body parts as effectively […] Read More

Are you impatient? You might be aging faster due to shorter telomeres. Researchers discovered that women who scored as more impatient on a common psychology test have cells that show signs of more rapid aging. In a new study conducted by National University of Singapore, researchers reveal that for young women seeking longevity, just a little more patience may help you live longer. In their paper published in Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, the team describes the results they found. Researchers investigated the possible long-term health consequences of patience in a large group of 1,158 healthy young participants. The participants were asked a series of questions that involved instant or delayed contentment. In fact, participants had to play an economic game in which […] Read More
ROCHESTER, Minn. — Everyone knows that exercise is good for you, but what type of training helps most, especially when you’re older — say over 65? A Mayo Clinic study says it’s high-intensity aerobic exercise, which can reverse some cellular aspects of aging. The findings appear in Cell Metabolism. Mayo researchers compared high-intensity interval training, resistance training and combined training. All training types improved lean body mass and insulin sensitivity, but only high-intensity and combined training improved aerobic capacity and mitochondrial function for skeletal muscle. Decline in mitochondrial content and function are common in older adults. High-intensity intervals also improved muscle protein content that not only enhanced energetic functions, but also caused muscle enlargement, especially in older adults. The researchers emphasized an important finding: Exercise […] Read More
The well-known cancer-healing formula Essiac, based on an old Ojibwa recipe, was brought to the modern world by the Canadian nurse Rene Caisse in the 1920’s. Essiac is Caisse spelled backwards! […] Read More
By Dr. Mercola Photobiology is the therapeutic use of light to improve health. In this interview, Dr. Alexander Wunsch, one of the leading experts in photobiology, explains the historical significance of photobiology. I recently interviewed him about the dangers of light-emitting diode (LED) lighting. That interview has nearly three-quarter of a million views at this point. If you haven’t seen it already, please take a look, as that interview went into some very practical, real world aspects of photobiology. Here, we focus on the historical component to help you get a better appreciation of its potential. Historical Use of Light Therapy Light has been used therapeutically for thousands of years. Humans have not only evolved to adapt to sunlight, but also to the influence of […] Read More
There are over 100 different types of arthritis, ranging from mild to quite severe. Arthritis commonly affects the joints as a result of inflammation. Arthritis can affect anyone at any age and nearly three out of five people living with arthritis are under the age of 65, this according to the Arthritis Society of Canada. One type of arthritis, in particular, is psoriatic arthritis. It is most commonly seen in individuals with psoriasis – a skin condition. In those cases, it is typical that psoriasis comes first, followed by psoriatic arthritis. Causes and risk factors of psoriatic arthritis Like many other forms of arthritis, psoriatic arthritis is caused when the body’s immune system attacks itself – meaning healthy cells are put under attack. This attack […] Read More
