It’s probably safe to say that most of us don’t consider our blood when we sit down to eat, or at least, maybe not directly. But our blood flow can affect all aspects of our health, in ways you might not expect it to. For instance, healthy, steady blood flow is needed for digestion, healthy circulation that leads to good heart health, energy, and even helping remove wastes that can become stagnant and contribute to weight gain and acidic pH levels in the body. Circulation of blood is also important for maintaining a healthy body temperature. Blood flow is improved through all forms of movement, along with certain foods and drinks in our diet. Dry brushing and showering can also stimulate blood flow, but when […] Read More

A hundred years ago, the New York Times reported on a rather sophisticated study for the time: 4,600 cases of cancer appearing over a seven year period, suggesting that the increased consumption of animal foods was to blame. A century later, the latest review on the subjects concluded that mortality from all causes put together, ischemic heart disease, circulatory, and cerebrovascular diseases was significantly lower in those eating meat-free diets, in addition to less cancer and diabetes. I’m surprised they found such significant results given that people in these studies typically didn’t stop eating meat until late in life. For example, in the largest study done up until recently, up to a third of subjects ate vegetarian for less than five years, yet they still […] Read More
After 35 years in practice, I have had thousands of patients who were told that there was nothing else that could stop their back pain except pain medication and/or surgery. Unfortunately, many of these same patients were NOT offered ALL of their options. The one option that was not offered, of course, was chiropractic treatment. I can tell you with great satisfaction that many many of these patients finally were relieved of their pain after seeing me for chiropractic treatment. In fact, you will likely hear the same story from many of my colleages. The results are absolutely stunning. The question you may be asking is, “why aren’t more people told about the great benefits of chiropractic treatment for millions of people suffering with back […] Read More
Did you know that candida is a genus of yeast that we all have, living in our guts. Candida is what is known as “Dimorphic”. In other words it can exist in 2 forms at the same time. One form (as yeast) is beneficial. It helps to ferment sugar and is 100% non-invasive. The other form that Candida can take is a fungal form, in which it develops extended root type structures that are known as “Rhizoids”. These roots are able to penetrate our mucous membranes, and therefore become invasive. 80% of US Citizens may have Candida Overgrowth In its yeast guise, Candida is a so called “friendly bacterium”, and its growth is normally held in check by a healthy immune system. But when our […] Read More
Did you know that your body is acidic? Dr.Otto H Warburg, a Nobel Prize Winner, discovered the real cause of cancer and he claims that all cancers happen due to an oxygen deficiency in the organism. If your body lacks oxygen your organism becomes acidic which enables cancer cells to develop. Dr. Warburg discovered that cancer cells are anaerobic, which means that they cannot survive in an alkaline body (high levels of oxygen). There’s a rule with no exceptions: “All normal cells have an absolute requirement for oxygen, but cancer cells can live without oxygen. Deprive a cell 35% of its oxygen for 48 hours and it may become cancerous.” The pH levels in our body depend on what we eat and that’s what keeps the pH levels balanced. PH […] Read More
What happens with the brain activity during meditation? “Meditation is the dissolution of thoughts in eternal awareness or pure consciousness without objectification, knowing without thinking, merging finitude in infinity.” ―Voltaire Matthieu Ricard, a 66-year old Tibetan monk and geneticist, produces brain gamma waves—linked to consciousness, attention, learning and memory—never before reported in neuroscience, leading researchers to conclude that Ricard is the world’s happiest man. The secret to his success in achieving bliss? Meditation, he claims. “Meditating is like lifting weights or exercising for the mind”, Ricard told the Daily News. “Anyone can be happy by simply training their brain”, he says. To quantify just how happy Ricard is, neuroscientists at the University of Wisconsin attached 256 sensors to the monk’s skull. When he meditated on compassion, the researchers were shocked to […] Read More
What are Chakras? Chakras are centres of force that are found in the body and also beyond the physical. The ones in the body are actually situated in the etheric body which is the energetic blueprint for the physical. Chakras are vortexes of energy that create our auric field. There are many different systems that describe the chakras but the one I am talking about here describes a 12 chakra system. Of course there are many minor chakras also such as the ones situated in the palms of the hands, the soles of the feet and the ones located within the eyes and ears. But this article focuses on the major 12 chakras. Activating the chakras is the process of enlightenment, in other words bringing […] Read More
Hyperbaric chambers come in all sizes Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) saturates the body’s tissues with oxygen using a pressure vessel. HBOT is most often recognized as the treatment for Decompression Sickness (DCS) or “the bends.” DCS causes significant neurological injury and post initial injury. The dysfunctional changes are virtually identical to those caused by trauma. Thus oxygen under pressure has been used to treat neurological injuries since 1937, almost eighty years. No one has found a replacement or substitute treatment for the bends that works as well as oxygen. HBOT results in a 95 percent acute treatment cure rate for DCS in all of the navies of the world. Combining HBOT with other therapies that help brain-injured patients enhances the effect of those treatments and […] Read More
by Stephanie Marohn The Shamanic View of Mental Illness In the shamanic view, mental illness signals “the birth of a healer,” explains Malidoma Patrice Somé. Thus, mental disorders are spiritual emergencies, spiritual crises, and need to be regarded as such to aid the healer in being born. What those in the West view as mental illness, the Dagara people regard as “good news from the other world.” The person going through the crisis has been chosen as a medium for a message to the community that needs to be communicated from the spirit realm. “Mental disorder, behavioral disorder of all kinds, signal the fact that two obviously incompatible energies have merged into the same field,” says Dr. Somé. These disturbances result when the person does […] Read More
Correlation does not mean causation. Is the Zika virus being used as a scapegoat for Pharma’s dangerous adverse effects? The world of modern medicine has since its inception been one of controversies, scandals and cover ups. Each such episode has bettered the other and is done with a finesse that appears clearly criminal in intent. The Zika virus episode is one of the best examples of this and hides a very cruel agenda behind it. On February 1st 2016, the WHO declared the Zika virus epidemic a global public health emergency. This was even before it formally sat for a Skype meeting on February 2nd. What caused this urgency? The Zika virus, WHO claimed, had caused an epidemic of microcephaly in Brazilian children around 4000 […] Read More
