THE THALIDOMIDE OF GENETIC ‘ENGINEERING’ L R B Mann, D Straton & W E Crist http://www.connectotel.com/gmfood/trypto.html A Deadly Epidemic and the Attempt to Hide its Link to Genetic Engineering Spilling the Beans, August 2005 Institute of Responsible Technology introduction In my book Seeds of Deception, I bring out new information about the genetically engineered food supplement L-tryptophan, which was responsible for a deadly epidemic in the United States in the 1980s. Much of the research for the chapter came from the work of investigator William Crist. The book cited Crist’s report, which was expected to have been posted on a website well in advance of my book’s publication. Unfortunately, Crist was unable to update his report at that time. It is now available at http://www.seedsofdeception.com/Public/L-tryptophan/index.cfm […] Read More

By Michael Snyder The Truth Wins That is a really crazy headline, right? Unfortunately, it is not a joke. Right now, gelatin made with human DNA fragments is already being used in pharmaceutical drugs and vaccines, and scientists believe that recent breakthroughs will soon make it economically feasible to use such gelatin in consumer products such as gummy bears and marshmallows on a massive scale. So are you ready for gummy bears made out of people? They are coming. And this is just the tip of the iceberg. As you will read about below, scientists have also combined human DNA with mice, rabbits, goats, pigs, sheep and cows. We have arrived at a time in human history when advances in technology have opened the door […] Read More
Many people are becoming aware of ways to live that are more harmonious with the planet. It seems that we are transitioning to a very ancient understanding of how to operate here on Earth, with a very advanced ‘know how’ of technologies and methods to begin making that transition. New ways of living are coming to light and although you may not hear about them often, communities all over the world are starting to implement them. A new sustainable housing project in the Northwest of Scotland will use industrial hemp as the main building material. It’s made of a prefabricated wall system called Hembuild, which is a mixture of the plant’s woody core and a lime-based binder. Another popular name for this is Hempcrete. This […] Read More
It happens every year, November rolls around and we immediately get bombarded with the Christmas season. For some, the lights, decorations and extended store hours marks the beginning of their happiest time of the year, while for others it can be found as dreaded and/ or annoying. Why am I talking about Christmas in an article about how chestnuts should become a part of your regular diet? Because for many -due in large part to the infamous ‘The Christmas Song’ -chestnuts and Christmas go hand in hand. “Chestnuts roasting on an open fire…” – The Christmas Song, Originally Recorded By Nat King Cole Whether or not this common correlation applies in your life, here is why chestnuts should get some serious consideration to become a […] Read More
The extreme production methods used to deliver plump turkeys in time for Thanksgiving are enough to make you lose your appetite. With Thanksgiving days away, U.S. turkey growers are probably relieved that no arsenic, salmonella or cruelty stories have yet surfaced like they have in other years. But that doesn’t mean the turkey on your holiday table is exactly wholesome. In fact, the chemicals, food additives and extreme production methods used to deliver the nation’s plump, affordable turkeys just in time for Thanksgiving are enough to make you lose your appetite. 1. Extreme Cruelty To Animals If you think of Butterball as a trusted name that operates a help line for Thanksgiving Day cooks, then the turkey giant has succeeded at its PR job. Less than a year […] Read More
The fact is, everyone dreams! Researchers have found that most people dream several times each night and each dream last about 5 – 90 minutes even though some dreams seem like they last all night. Some of us dream in black and white and some in color. We can control our dreams, remember or forget our dreams and as I am going to discuss today, we can learn a heck of a lot from our dreams. [1] Remembering Dreams You may be a person who thinks they never dream or does not remember any of the dreams you have and so you might be thinking this article is of no help to you. Truth is, you can train yourself to remember your dreams more easily. […] Read More
Booze lobbyists are becoming more and more pissed off at marijuana advocates as legalization sweeps the country. Booze lobbyists are becoming more and more pissed off at marijuana as legalization sweeps the country, the National Journal reported. In the buildup to this weeks’ pot victory in Portland, Maine, the Marijuana Policy Project put up signs around the city which read: “I prefer marijuana over alcohol because it doesn’t make me rowdy or reckless,” and “I prefer marijuana over alcohol because it’s less harmful to my body.” In response, the alcohol lobby freaked out. Chris Thorne at the Beer Institute told National Journal that it’s a red herring to compare alcohol to pot. “We believe it’s misleading to compare marijuana to beer,” he said, “Beer is distinctly different […] Read More
While the press has hailed the president’s “public health” approach, the White House has cracked down on cannabis. This article appeared in the November 18, 2013 edition of The Nation. In February 2013, three months after Colorado and Washington legalized recreational marijuana, a sullen Gil Kerlikowske, head of the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP), shared his regrets with the Canadian magazine Maclean’s. “The administration has not done a particularly good job,” he said, “of, one, talking about marijuana as a public health issue, and number two, talking about what can be done and where we should be headed on our drug policy.” People in mourning are given to melodrama, but Kerlikowske’s attempt to blame marijuana legalization on poor messaging was evidence of […] Read More
By Susanne Posel Occupy Corporatism Cargill will begin labeling their beef products that have “finely textured beef” (FTB) or pink slime and genetically engineered ingredients. FTB is made from processing other cuts of beef trimmings that were washed in ammonia. John Keating, president of beef operations at Cargill said: “Our research shows that consumers believe ground beef products containing finely textured beef should be clearly labeled. We’ve listened to the public, as well as our customers, and that is why today we are declaring our commitment to labeling finely textured beef.” Michael Martin, spokesman for Cargill stated: “Not all of the ground beef products contained the binder.” The corporation will label those that do. This includes: • Excel brand • Our Certified Ground Beef Patty Lovera, assistant director […] Read More
By Anthony Gucciardi Storyleak Award winning scientist David Suzuki has gone on record in a public talk posted online just days ago in saying that in the event of another seven or above earthquake, which he says has about a 95% chance of occurring over the next three years, it would mean a complete evacuation of North America and ‘bye bye Japan’. “I have seen a paper which says that if in fact the fourth plant goes under in an earthquake and those rods are exposed, it’s bye bye Japan and everybody on the west coast of North America should evacuate,” he said. As a recipient of 16 significant academic awards and a host of the popular CBC Television program entitled ‘The Nature of Things’, Suzuki […] Read More
