by Sherill Sellman From: The SPECTRUM Vol. 4 No. 8; February 2003, p.23 — www.thespectrumnews.org Editor’s note: Considering the quantity of sugar we all consume in one way or another each day, sometimes not by choice, the following is perhaps the most important health article to come along in quite some time, and should be shared as widely as possible with family and friends of ALL ages. Many of you readers of this publication are quite familiar with the various business and “health” reasons why the New World Order gang of misfits have long been promoting sugar (and even nastier artificial sweeteners) to help with their sinister control and depopulation agendas. Obviously, on the way to ruining our physical and mental health, a lot of […] Read More

In my research on the new trans fats labeling laws, I found, in my opinion, a very serious infraction being perpetrated on American consumers by the food companies….. If you have been out label shopping lately, you have probably come across labels reading “0 Grams Trans Fat“, in foods such as margarine, bean dips, chips, and many other foods that typically contain the notoriously dangerous trans fats, known as “partially hydrogenated oil, hydrogenated oil, and vegetable shortening”. If you look at the “Ingredients:” portion of the label, you will still see these hydrogenated oils listed in the content of the foods, sometimes listed as a third ingredient, as in the Frito Lay Bean Dip, indicating a higher weight than ingredients listed toward the end. I called Frito […] Read More
Food enzymes in raw food are vital for digesting that food, but their destruction during cooking is a key factor in today’s rising levels of allergies and chronic degenerative diseases. ——————————————————————————– Extracted from Nexus Magazine, Volume 10, Number 6 (October-November 2003) PO Box 30, Mapleton Qld 4560 Australia. editor@nexusmagazine.com Telephone: +61 (0)7 5442 9280; Fax: +61 (0)7 5442 9381 From our web page at: www.nexusmagazine.com © 2003 by Mark Rojek 785 N. http://www.azcentral.com/news/articles/0820frybread20-ON.html Aug. 20, 2005 09:45 PM Associated Press SELLS- When you first see it, plopped down on a paper plate in all its caloric bliss, the round, doughy treat is so appealing, so alluring it’s hard to believe this wondrous sight can cause anything but delight. But fry bread, that fluffy concoction American Indian women lovingly make in their kitchens and people line up for at powwows and western fairs, has come under attack as a hazard to health. OAS_AD(‘BoxAd’) Suzan Shown Harjo, a Cheyenne and Muscogee Indian, wasn’t trying to cause a debate. She just was exhausted with yet another one of her relatives dying of diabetes. She zoned in on fry bread as a culprit and whipped out a January column for Indian […] Read More
Introduction Proteolytic enzymes (or proteases) refer to the various enzymes that digest (break down into smaller units) protein. These enzymes include the pancreatic proteases chymotrypsin and trypsin, bromelain (pineapple enzyme), papain (papaya enzyme), fungal proteases, and Serratia peptidase (the “silk worm” enzyme). Preparations of proteolytic enzymes have been shown to be useful in the following situations: Cancer Digestion support Fibrocystic breast disease Food allergies Hardening of the arteries (atherosclerosis) Hepatitis C Herpes zoster (shingles) Inflammation, sports injuries and trauma Pancreatic insufficiency Multiple sclerosis Rheumatoid arthritis and other autoimmune disorders Sinusitis, asthma, bronchitis, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease Proteolytic enzymes in cancer therapy Proteolytic enzymes have a long history of use in cancer treatment. By Jeremy Laurance, Health Editor Published: 28 March 2006 New research suggesting that vitamin C can be effective in curing cancer will renew interest in the “alternative” treatment for the terminal disease. Three cancer patients who were given large intravenous doses over a period of several months had their lives extended and their tumours shrunk, doctors reported yesterday. A 49-year-old man diagnosed with terminal bladder cancer in 1996 was still alive and cancer-free nine years later, having declined chemotherapy and radiotherapy in favour of regular infusions of vitamin C. A 66-year-old woman with an aggressive lymphoma who had a “dismal prognosis” in 1995 was similarly treated and is still alive 10 years later. A 51-year-old woman with kidney cancer that spread to her lungs diagnosed […] Read More
By Morris A. Bealle Essay by Hans Ruesch “The truth about cures without drugs is suppressed, unless it suits the purpose of the censor to garble it. Whether these cures are effected by chiropractors, Naturopaths, Naprapaths, Osteopaths, Faith Healers, Spiritualists, Herbalists, Christian Scientists, or MDs who use the brains they have, you never read about it in the big newspapers.” In the 30’s, Morris A. Bealle, a former city editor of the old Washington Times and Herald, was running a county seat newspaper, in which the local power company bought a large advertisement every week. This account took quite a lot of worry off Bealle’ s shoulders when the bills came due. But according to Bealle’ s own story, one day the paper took up […] Read More
In traditional herbal medicine systems, herbal remedies are prepared in several rather standardized ways which usually vary based upon the plant utilized, and sometimes, what condition is being treated. Some of these methods include: infusions (hot teas), decoctions (boiled teas), tinctures (alcohol and water extracts), and macerations (cold-soaking) which are detailed more fully herein. In indigenous Indian medicine systems, medicine men or shamans generally use these same methods in addition to others. Others include preparing plants in hot baths (in which the patient is soaked in it or bathed with it), inhalation of powdered plants (like snuff), steam inhalation of various aromatic plants boiled in hot water, and even aromatherapy. The well-trained herbalist will always throughly review the time-honored method in which a plant has […] Read More
