If the phone conversation with President Obama is any indication of Justin Trudeau’s commitment, Canada will be giving its southern neighbor lessons in peace and freedom. Trudeau, Canada’s Prime Minister-elect, told Obama on Tuesday that he will withdraw their fighter jets from Iraq and Syria. Both of these campaigns represent U.S. military aggression based on deceit and manufactured consent. By withdrawing machines of death and destruction from the two countries plagued by military hegemony, Trudeau is making a strong statement and standing firm behind his commitment. “I committed that we would continue to engage in a responsible way that understands how important Canada has a role to play in the fight against ISIL (Islamic State), but he (Barack Obama) understands the commitments I’ve made around […] Read More

There is, without question, a bizarre history pertaining to psychic experimentation. Throughout the Cold War era, world governments sought to explore whether powers of the mind could allow for espionage that far exceeded anything technology could produce. At times, the lengths those in officialdom may have gone to in attempting to unlock the supposed superhuman powers of the mind may have entered the despicable; in likelihood, the full extent to which tests involving humans may have been carried out will never be known. Apart from human experimentation into psychic powers, with little doubt, there were even greater injustices brought against aboriginal children in parts of Canada during the early and middle parts of the twentieth century. These ranged from poor treatment to children being underfed, assaulted, and […] Read More
THE NEW YORK TIMES October 3, 1999 By Christopher S. Wren What do 40,000 pounds of birdseed have in common with America’s war on drugs? Everything, say the U.S. government and its critics, but for altogether different reasons. The birdseed, nearly 20 tons of it, has been locked in a Detroit warehouse since Aug. 9, when it was impounded by the U.S. Customs Service. The reason: the seed consists of sterilized seeds processed from industrial hemp. Laprise has found himself mired in one of the more bizarre episodes of Washington’s campaign to curb illicit drug use. Hemp and marijuana […] Read More
Many people are becoming aware of ways to live that are more harmonious with the planet. It seems that we are transitioning to a very ancient understanding of how to operate here on Earth, with a very advanced ‘know how’ of technologies and methods to begin making that transition. New ways of living are coming to light and although you may not hear about them often, communities all over the world are starting to implement them. A new sustainable housing project in the Northwest of Scotland will use industrial hemp as the main building material. It’s made of a prefabricated wall system called Hembuild, which is a mixture of the plant’s woody core and a lime-based binder. Another popular name for this is Hempcrete. This […] Read More
