Monsanto Don’t Want You to Know – Many Foods You Eat Found to Have 1,000 Times The ‘Safe’ Limit of Glysophates!!

A FDA-registered food safety laboratory tested iconic American food for residues of the weed killer glyphosate (aka Monsanto’s Roundup) and found ALARMING amounts. Just to give you an idea of how outrageous these amounts are, independent research shows that probable harm to human health begins at really low levels of exposure – at only 0.1 ppb of glyphosate. Many foods were found to have over 1,000 times this amount! Well above what regulators throughout the world consider “safe”. Just to give you an idea of how outrageous these amounts are, independent research shows that probable harm to human health begins at really low levels of exposure – at only 0.1 ppb of glyphosate. Taiwan Just Banned GMOs in School Cafeteria Lunches

Today in Taiwan, the Legislature effectively banned the use of genetically modified food ingredients – or processed food with such ingredients – in school meals. Some amendments were made to the School Health Act by the amendment sponsors that would halt the use of GMOs in food prepared for students. The Central News Agency in tandem with Focus Taiwan announced the report on December 14th, citing health concerns as a reason for officials sponsoring a bill that altered the Act, and calling the consumption of GMOs a “hidden food safety crisis.” One of the amendments’ sponsors, Democratic Progressive Party Legislator Lin Shu-fen said that Taiwan imports more than 2.3 million tons of soybean each year and that 90 percent is either GMO or “animal feed” […] Read More

GMO Tomatoes May Soon Be Back on Supermarket Shelves

Natasha Longo, Prevent Disease The beloved tomato is the one fruit many still think is a vegetable. Few also realize that tomatoes were one of the first commercially available genetically modified (GM) crops ever. Under the guise of incorporating healthier and concentrated natural compounds, GM tomatoes are about to make a comeback on new research that aims to pack in the same amount of resveratrol as 50 bottles of red wine into one tomato. Earlier forms of this GM crop included the transgenic tomato (FlavrSavr) which had a “deactivated” gene. This meant that the tomato plant was no longer able to produce polygalacturonase, an enzyme involved in fruit softening. The premise was that tomatoes could be left to ripen on the vine and still have […] Read More

He Holds the Patent That Could DESTROY Monsanto and Change the World

If there’s anything you read – or share – let this be it. The content of this article has potential to radically shift the world in a variety of positive ways. And as Monsanto would love for this article to not go viral, all we can ask is that you share, share, share the information being presented so that it can reach as many people as possible. In 2006, a patent was granted to a man named Paul Stamets. Though Paul is the world’s leading mycologist, his patent has received very little attention and exposure. Why is that? Stated by executives in the pesticide industry, this patent represents “the most disruptive technology we have ever witnessed.” And when the executives say disruptive, they are referring […] Read More

Evidence Mounts On Roundup’s Link To Liver And Kidney Damage

One of the world’s most popular herbicide–Roundup–is making its way back into the headlines in regards to its health and environmental effects. Monsanto, the producer of Roundup (glyphosate), claims this herbicide is safe; however, study after study from independent researchers is showing the exact opposite. A new research study is showing that small amounts of exposure–up to thousands of times lower than permitted in drinking water in the U.S.–can produce unfavorable and concerning effects in the liver and kidneys. Could this study be the turning point for finally phasing out Roundup in agriculture? Or will it simply be ignored and human health continue to suffer? The Damaging Effects of Roundup to Liver and Kidney Health According to U.S. estimates, the use of glyphosate, or Roundup, […] Read More

Roundup Herbicide Linked To Parkinson’s-Related Brain Damage

Alarming new research published in the journal Neurotoxicology and Teratology supports the emerging connection between glyphosate, the active ingredient in Roundup herbicide, and neurodegenerative conditions such as Parkinson’s disease and Parkinsonian disorders. Published this month (April, 2012), the new study entitled “Glyphosate induced cell death through apoptotic and authophagic mechanisms,” investigated the potential brain-damaging effects of herbicides, which the authors stated “have been recognized as the main environmental factor associated with neurodegenerative disorders, such as Parkinson’s disease.”1 They found that glyphosate inhibited the viability of differentiated test cells (PC12, adrenal medula derived), in both dose-and-time dependent manners. The researchers also found that “glyphosate induced cell death via authophagy pathways in addition to activating apoptotic pathways.” Roundup herbicide is now a ubiquitous contaminant in our air, […] Read More

Hillary Clinton Endorses GMOs

Independent studies show genetically modified foods and ingredients harm human health. Reports indicate White House meals are organic. Michelle Obama’s book titled “American Grown: The Story of the White House Kitchen Garden and Gardens Across America” indicate the first family’s commitment to organic (non-GMO) foods in their personal diet. What they want the rest of America to eat is another story altogether – especially if Hillary is elected president in November 2016. At a July 2014 biotech conference, she publicly endorsed GMOs saying “I stand in favor of using seeds and products that have a proven track record.” She attacked GMO critics adding “(t)here is a big gap between what the facts are, and what the perceptions are.” The Clinton and Bush II families ate […] Read More

Lobbyist claims Monsanto’s Round Up is safe to drink, panics when TV host offers him a glass

When a controversial lobbyist claimed during a TV interview that Monsanto’s weed killer Roundup was safe to drink, the host offered him a glass. Needless to say, he wasn’t willing to back up his claim. In an upcoming documentary for French TV, Dr. Patrick Moore tells a Canal+ host that glyphosate, the active ingredient in Roundup herbicide, was not behind increasing cancer rates in Argentina. “You can drink a whole quart of it and it won’t hurt you,” Moore says. “You want to drink some?” the host asks. “We have some here.” “I’d be happy to, actually,” Moore replies, then adding, “Not really. But I know it wouldn’t hurt me.” “If you say so, I have some,” the host insists. “I’m not stupid,” Moore snaps […] Read More

Epigenomics and How Natural Nutrients Heal Genes

Pao L. Chang, Guest Since the emergence of epigenomics, which is the study of how epigenetic modifications affect the genetic material of cells or the entire organism, geneticists have discovered that the human genome is a lot more complex than they have ever imagined. For example, DNA sequencing technologies that are currently available to mainstream geneticists can only decode roughly 21,000 known genes that are involved in protein synthesis in the human body. This only decodes a very small percentage of the human genome. The 21,000 known genes that are involved in protein synthesis make up nearly 1.5 percent of the human body’s DNA. This means that roughly 98.5 percent of the human DNA structure, which is often referred to as “junk DNA”, is yet […] Read More
