If there’s anything you read – or share – let this be it. The content of this article has potential to radically shift the world in a variety of positive ways. And as Monsanto would love for this article to not go viral, all we can ask is that you share, share, share the information being presented so that it can reach as many people as possible. In 2006, a patent was granted to a man named Paul Stamets. Though Paul is the world’s leading mycologist, his patent has received very little attention and exposure. Why is that? Stated by executives in the pesticide industry, this patent represents “the most disruptive technology we have ever witnessed.” And when the executives say disruptive, they are referring […] Read More

One of the world’s most popular herbicide–Roundup–is making its way back into the headlines in regards to its health and environmental effects. Monsanto, the producer of Roundup (glyphosate), claims this herbicide is safe; however, study after study from independent researchers is showing the exact opposite. A new research study is showing that small amounts of exposure–up to thousands of times lower than permitted in drinking water in the U.S.–can produce unfavorable and concerning effects in the liver and kidneys. Could this study be the turning point for finally phasing out Roundup in agriculture? Or will it simply be ignored and human health continue to suffer? The Damaging Effects of Roundup to Liver and Kidney Health According to U.S. estimates, the use of glyphosate, or Roundup, […] Read More
(Organiclifestyle) Vaccines get all the glory, but most plumbers will tell you that it was water infrastructure – sewage systems and clean water – that eradicated disease, and they’re right. Disease Before Plumbing After the fall of the Roman Empire, Europeans despised all things Roman, including bathing. There was a widespread belief that getting wet caused illness. This contempt and fear of bathing persisted through the Dark Ages. Some Europeans defied local customs by bathing, but this was usually done over great protest. When Queen Elizabeth bathed, her servants panicked, fearing she would become ill and die. This resistance to bathing was brought across the Atlantic to America, influencing habits all the way into the 1800s. In 1835, Philadelphia almost passed an ordinance forbidding wintertime […] Read More
Alarming new research published in the journal Neurotoxicology and Teratology supports the emerging connection between glyphosate, the active ingredient in Roundup herbicide, and neurodegenerative conditions such as Parkinson’s disease and Parkinsonian disorders. Published this month (April, 2012), the new study entitled “Glyphosate induced cell death through apoptotic and authophagic mechanisms,” investigated the potential brain-damaging effects of herbicides, which the authors stated “have been recognized as the main environmental factor associated with neurodegenerative disorders, such as Parkinson’s disease.”1 They found that glyphosate inhibited the viability of differentiated test cells (PC12, adrenal medula derived), in both dose-and-time dependent manners. The researchers also found that “glyphosate induced cell death via authophagy pathways in addition to activating apoptotic pathways.” Roundup herbicide is now a ubiquitous contaminant in our air, […] Read More
Independent studies show genetically modified foods and ingredients harm human health. Reports indicate White House meals are organic. Michelle Obama’s book titled “American Grown: The Story of the White House Kitchen Garden and Gardens Across America” indicate the first family’s commitment to organic (non-GMO) foods in their personal diet. What they want the rest of America to eat is another story altogether – especially if Hillary is elected president in November 2016. At a July 2014 biotech conference, she publicly endorsed GMOs saying “I stand in favor of using seeds and products that have a proven track record.” She attacked GMO critics adding “(t)here is a big gap between what the facts are, and what the perceptions are.” The Clinton and Bush II families ate […] Read More
The World Health Organization is set to deliver a verdict on the potential danger of 2,4-D herbicides widely used in the agribusiness, and which was one of the key components of Agent Orange used during US herbicidal warfare in Vietnam. The move by the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC), a research arm of WHO, to examine the chemical comes shortly after the agency classified glyphosate or Roundup herbicide, produced by Monsanto, as “probably” cancerogenic. Now the stage is set to determine the possible health risk posed by the 2,4-D. Some 24 IARC scientists are due to deliver the verdict after examining pro and con studies on the issue. Their week-long meeting is scheduled to start on June 2 in Lyon, France. Produced mainly […] Read More
A new documentary reveals how the $770 billion chemical industry is pumping dangerous substances into our lives. Back in 1974, the agricultural multinational Monsanto developed a class of herbicides using glyphosate as the key ingredient. By the 1990s, the company had created corn, soy and cotton seeds genetically altered to resist glyphosate herbicides, meaning farmers could kill weeds without fearing for the health of their crops. Today, Monsanto’s Roundup is the most widely used weed-killer in the world. One problem: we now know with certainty that glyphosate is carcinogenic to humans and animals. Though Roundup has been plagued by controversy for years, a report released this March by scientists affiliated with the World Health Organization definitively linked the herbicide to increased risks for non-Hodgkin lymphoma, as well as DNA and chromosomal […] Read More
When a controversial lobbyist claimed during a TV interview that Monsanto’s weed killer Roundup was safe to drink, the host offered him a glass. Needless to say, he wasn’t willing to back up his claim. In an upcoming documentary for French TV, Dr. Patrick Moore tells a Canal+ host that glyphosate, the active ingredient in Roundup herbicide, was not behind increasing cancer rates in Argentina. “You can drink a whole quart of it and it won’t hurt you,” Moore says. “You want to drink some?” the host asks. “We have some here.” “I’d be happy to, actually,” Moore replies, then adding, “Not really. But I know it wouldn’t hurt me.” “If you say so, I have some,” the host insists. “I’m not stupid,” Moore snaps […] Read More
For over 40 years Monsanto’s patented glyphosate formula, better known as Roundup, has become a staple for farmers, gardeners, and landscapers. Monsanto has gone so far as to create genetically modified crops capable of withstanding massive amounts of the pesticide without dying. These “Roundup Ready” crops, such as corn, soy, and canola, have since come to dominate America’s agricultural industry. But over the years, many researchers have questioned whether these heavily sprayed crops are safe for human consumption. As time goes on, it appears that some institutions are beginning to change their tune on the popular pesticide. (Reuters) – The world’s most widely-used weed killer can “probably” cause cancer, the World Health Organization said on Friday. The WHO’s cancer arm, the International Agency for Research […] Read More
Dr. Eldon Dahl, Prevent Disease Waking Times When it comes to supplements, the series of questions that individuals ask most frequently relate to their necessity. Do we not get all of the necessary nutrients, vitamins and minerals from the food that we eat? And if we eat a regular, balanced diet, is that not enough to keep our bodies healthy and fit?” If you were to ask those questions prior to the turn of the 20th century, or even into the first quarter of the 20th century, the answer would have been yes. But today, given the fact that we do not have pure food anymore, the answer is no! Today, our oceans are in terrible shape. The fish that we catch have high levels of poisons and toxins. […] Read More
