A few days ago, with over a three year delay, Japan finally admitted what was clear to most from day one: the consequences of the Fukushima disaster have been far, far worse than officials had reported, and not only is the containment effort out of control, but that more nuclear fuel had melted at the Fukushima nuclear reactor than previously reported, suggesting that neither TEPCO nor the government have had any success in mitigating what is now the worst – and ongoing – nuclear disaster in history. So now, perhaps to celebrate its truth-telling ways, TEPCO has announced that it is planning to release thousands of tons of radioactive groundwater from the Fukushima disaster site into the ocean. Actually scratch that: officially the water dumped […] Read More
The next wave of the food, supplement and nutrition market is upon us with little fanfare. Perhaps because the age of information we are in has once again caught the public and market by surprise with its rapid pace. The idea of health supplements is nothing new, however the market has become lazy. Consumers settled for the status quo and companies were happy to take a back seat to meet that demand. However, all are in for a rude awakening. Garden of life and Subway just received their warning shot, and in doing so a revolution was quietly started. No longer will the informed public trust hype, social media marketing pushes, celebrity endorsement, or promises of meaningless words like ‘natural’. What is needed are truer, […] Read More
By Elizabeth Renter Natural Society As we reported in January of 2013, a convention ten years in the making has resulted in a treaty that will ban the production and trade of many products containing mercury as well as processes where mercury is released into the environment. But critics say the Minamata Convention didn’t go far enough, and suspect that those in attendance may have helped sway the treaty in their favor. As the Alliance for Natural Health reports, 140 countries were present at the convention earlier this year and over 90 of those countries just recently signed the final treaty. Because of the timing and the bickering in Washington, the delegation from the US was recalled due to the government shut-down. But the US joined on November 6 to sign the treaty. According […] Read More
By Anthony Gucciardi Storyleak Award winning scientist David Suzuki has gone on record in a public talk posted online just days ago in saying that in the event of another seven or above earthquake, which he says has about a 95% chance of occurring over the next three years, it would mean a complete evacuation of North America and ‘bye bye Japan’. “I have seen a paper which says that if in fact the fourth plant goes under in an earthquake and those rods are exposed, it’s bye bye Japan and everybody on the west coast of North America should evacuate,” he said. As a recipient of 16 significant academic awards and a host of the popular CBC Television program entitled ‘The Nature of Things’, Suzuki […] Read More
Appendix 2 Electrical Technology and Human Evolution L.B. Hainsworth, 1987 13/91 Dampier Avenue, Mullaloo, Western Austrlia 6025, Australia Copyright, Speculations in Science and Technology, Vol. 11, No. 2, p. 101 Abstract: The influence of naturally occurring Schumann resonant signals on brain-wave pattern evolution is formally stated to show that low-power electrical fields could produce evolutionary change. The electrical fields produced by modern electro-technology are then considered briefly, as possible sources of evolutionary change. The characteristics of some forms which might result are considered, and some of the factors tha tmight inhibit survival of existing forms. The extent of research work being done in this area is assessed in relation to the lack of data available, showing that any expert opinion asserting that there is no […] Read More
External Treatment for Cancer The external treatment of cancer with escharotic salves actually seeks out and destroys cancer cells. Escharotic pastes and salves are caustic compounds that are applied externally on the skin. These are directly applied over the affected area and will erode the tissue to eventually destroy and remove the underlying tumor. The direct application of herbs and herbal juices to tumors has been practiced in many different traditions and cultures far back into antiquity. It is known that the Native Americans commonly applied poultices of roasted onions and bloodroot as well as other substances, which eroded the skin to draw out cancers, tumors and other undesirable materials. Straight garlic poultice will also cause blistering and open the skin but, like onions, it […] Read More
One of the main problems we face as we age is the inevitable build-up of acidic waste products in our bodies. The Build Up One of the main problems we face as we age is the inevitable build-up of acidic waste products in our bodies. We have an elegant system for getting rid of acidic waste products through the liver and kidneys, the lungs and the out-breath, the stomach acid, and the bicarbonate buffering system in the pancreas and blood. However, an unhealthy lifestyle can overwhelm the body”s ability to eliminate acids and they start to accumulate. This acidification of body tissues is the root cause of most health problems seen today. Acidic waste products are also the cause of premature aging. Acid wastes build […] Read More
