The Psychology of Ecstasy By Austin Osman Spare Definitions The words God, religions, faith, morals, woman, etc. (they being forms of belief), are used as expressing different “means” as controlling and expressing desire: an idea of unity by fear in some form or another which must spell bondage-the imagined limits; extended by science which adds a dearly paid inch to our height: no more. Kia: The absolute freedom which being free is mighty enough to be “reality” and free at any time: therefore is not potential or manifest (except as it’s instant possibility) by ideas of freedom or “means,” but by the Ego being free to receive it, by being free of ideas about it and by not believing. The less said of it […] Read More

We’ve all heard the expression ‘something old is new again’. Well that, and the fact that Florida was apparently created on top of an ancient Hell Mouth of some sort, brings this creepy discovery coming out of Miami. Residents of a fancy-schmancy resort on the waters of Biscayne Bay in South Beach had been smelling something ‘unique’ in their building. It wasn’t uniquely fancy-schmancy food. Three chickens and one goat washed up together on the sidewalk behind the resort. They were all missing one important thing…their heads. After phone calls were made to the police regarding the animals, a spokesman for the department said that they weren’t going to get involved because “the dead animals didn’t appear to be sacrificed as a threat directed […] Read More

Life is like a dream — you never know you’re asleep, trapped in an illusion until you wake up. In our three-dimensional plane of existence, the world is not what it seems. What appears to be solid is basically empty space. Everything we perceive, such as earth, stars, animals, vegetation, people, buildings, etc., is made up of atoms. An atom consists of electrons orbiting a nucleus of protons. It’s an assembly of energy, not solid matter. And it’s more than 99 percent empty space. Therefore, everything we perceive as solid is basically a glob of energy. Furthermore, what we call “everything” (the universe and beyond) is made up of a vast array of frequencies or vibrations. Human senses are based on a very limited […] Read More

By Remez Sasson The five senses make us feel that the world is real. Seeing the solidity of the objects around us, feeling the impact of the senses, it is hard to deny the validity of what we see. Everything looks real, and therefore, we never stop to question this reality. The mind is attached to the five senses and accepts everything as real without questioning. When we bump into a table or a wall, and we feel pain, it is difficult to say that we are imagining it. When we see with our eyes, hear sounds, smell, or when we feel heat or coldness, we accept these sense impressions as real. Some say that the world is an illusion, Maya in Eastern terminology. Posted on Wednesday, 5 October, 2011 Columnist: Brendan D. Murphy The placebo effect and mind-body connection are well-documented phenomena and well known in the public arena today. What isn?t so well known, however, is that since the 1990s, a genuine scientific framework for understanding the power of suggestion, intention and belief has been developing. In the 1990s, a team of Russian linguists lead by Dr. Peter Gariaev discovered that the genetic code in ‘junk’ (or ‘potential’) DNA—which accounts for a whopping 97-8% of our overall genome—follows uniform grammar and usage rules virtually identical to those of human language. It turns out that the ‘junk’ was laden with the intimations of intelligence, purpose and meaning. This ground-breaking research followed J. Delrow’s discovery in 1990 that the […] Read More
