Is this the Ultimate evidence of PARALLEL UNIVERSES? Astronomers have made progress researching a massive—1.8 Billion-light-year—anomaly in space which they believe could mean parallel universes, with an infinite number of realities exist. The so-called ‘Cold-Spot’ in space is now being considered as an indication that alternate worlds, with their own version of reality, exist. The discovery is so cool in a number of ways. Imagine if we are not alone in the universe and that we are one of an INFINITE number of parallel universes that house INFINITE versions of ourselves. This is precisely what the so-called Multiverse theory puts forth, and a new scientific study presents an unprecedented discovery, a so-called ‘Cold Spot’ in space which may prove our universe is just one […] Read More

Quantum computers may be 100 million times more powerful than today’s computers and they may do that by computing results simultaneously in multiple universes. Really? Google and Nasa announced they were collaborating on the D-Wave X2 quantum computer, which they say is 100 million times faster than a conventional computer chip, in 2013. It can answer certain algorithms in seconds rather than years. Google director of engineering, Hartmut Neven, said: “For a specific, carefully crafted proof-of-concept problem we achieve a 100-million-fold speed-up.” … Representing information in qubits allows the information to be processed in ways that have no equivalent in classical computing, taking advantage of phenomena such as quantum tunneling and quantum entanglement. As such, quantum computers may theoretically be able to solve certain […] Read More
New theory says parallel worlds exist and interact with our world! Quantum mechanics, though firmly tested, is so weird and anti-intuitive that famed physicist Richard Feynman once remarked, “I think I can safely say that nobody understands quantum mechanics.” Attempts to explain some of the bizarre consequences of quantum theory have led to some mind-bending ideas, such as the Copenhagen interpretation and the many-worlds interpretation. Now there’s a new theory on the block, called the “many interacting worlds” hypothesis (MIW), and the idea is just as profound as it sounds. The theory suggests not only that parallel worlds exist, but that they interact with our world on the quantum level and are thus detectable. Though still speculative, the theory may help to finally explain some of the […] Read More

By Elizabeth Howell Is our universe unique? From science fiction to science fact, there is a proposal out there that suggests that there could be other universes besides our own, where all the choices you made in this life played out in alternate realities. So, instead of turning down that job offer that took you from the United States to China, the alternate universe would show the outcome if you decided to venture to Asia instead. The idea is pervasive in comic books and movies. For example, in the 2009 “Star Trek” reboot, the premise is that the Kirk and Spock portrayed by Chris Pine and Zachary Quinto are in an alternate timeline apart from the William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy versions of the […] Read More
by Scott McMan, GhostTheory We’ve all heard of alternate dimensions and universes. Many believe we are just a frequency away from an alternate existence. Still others claim that beings from other dimensions pop in and out of our world at will, somewhat like The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. Now a story comes to us out of Spain about a woman who claims to have woken up one day to find her life and past had changed. Unfortunately, she remembers a different reality than those who know her best. Lerina García, a 41 year old, well educated professional opened her eyes one morning to discover she was in what she later assumed to be an alternate universe existence of her own life. Garcia’s experience […] Read More
Ellie Zolfagharifard, Mail Online Waking Times The parallel worlds constantly influence one another, researchers claim This is because, instead of a collapse in which quantum particles ‘choose’ to occupy one state or another, they in fact occupy both, simultaneously The theory could resolve some of the irregularities in quantum mechanics It states some worlds are almost identical to ours, but most are different Theory may even create possibility of one day testing for these worlds Imagine a world where dinosaurs hadn’t become extinct, Germany had won World War II and you were born in an entirely different country. These worlds could exist today in parallel universes, which constantly interact with each other, according to a group of US and Australian researchers. It may sound like science fiction, but […] Read More
Farnsworth: “There is it. The edge of the Universe!” Fry: “Far out. So there’s an infinite number of parallel Universes?” Farnsworth: “No, just the two.” Fry: “Oh, well, I’m sure that’s enough.” Bender: “I’m sick of parallel Bender lording his cowboy hat over me!” –Futurama Our existence here in this Universe is something that we know is rare, special, beautiful, and full of wonder. Image credit: Kelly Montgomery. Some things happen with amazing regularity and predictability: the occurrence of days-and-nights, the tides, the seasons, the motion of the heavenly bodies, and so much more. The physical laws that govern the Universe are very, very well understood, and that understanding has helped us construct a rather comprehensive view of exactly what our observable Universe consists […] Read More
Parallel Universes, Parallel Worlds, Alternative History. Everybody has a opinion on it and SciFi writers have talked about for years, the problem is what do they really mean? The Parallel universe idea is that for every possible outcome there is a parallel universe somewhere in which that timeline happened. Which means that for every thought and decision, there’s a universe where that opposite thought and decision happened. Me myself and I all agree its reminds us of the 90’s SciFi TV Show ” Sliders ” or “Fringe” or go back to Robert Silverberg‘s awesome book “The Gate of Worlds“: the book that made me think about this at 9. Each choice spins off a new path, so follow this path and look at some of the info […] Read More
Written by Editor VOPUS There is a bold hypothesis that suggests the existence of a phantom universe similar to our own: “Only a very weak interaction between these two universes exists, therefore we do not see this other world that is mixed with our own.” Revolutionary, scientific Gnosticism goes much further into this question, emphatically affirming the harmonious coexistence of an infinitude of parallel universes. The radical exclusion of this transcendental, scientific concept would leave a considerable number of unclassified events without a logical explanation, such as mysterious disappearances, etc. On the perfumed and delectable shores of a river, that joyfully and happily sings while gliding within the profound jungles of a tropical region of South America, a group of innocent children watched in […] Read More
