CHARACTERISTICS OF MELCHIZEDEK 
   CHARACTERISTICS OF JESUS CHRIST
“Melchizedek King of Salem.” – Gen. 14:18

(the Hebrew word for ‘Salem’ is ‘Shalem’ which literally means: “PEACEFUL; SHALEM, an early name for Jerus.:Salem.” – From: STRONG’S CONCORDANCE) 

 “Unto us a child is born… and his name shall be called… The Prince of Peace.” – Isaiah 9:6 

“…When they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem (they) cried, Hosanna: Blessed is the King of Israel…” (or, King of Peace, King of Salem) – John 12:12-13
“And Melchizedek… brought forth bread and wine.” (i.e. the fruit of the vine, or the  fruit of the grape) – Genesis  14:18 “…Jesus took bread, and blessed, and broke it… and he took the cup, and… gave it unto them.” – Mark 14:22-23 14:18
“Melchizedek… was the Priest of the most high God.” -Genesis 14:18 “…Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed unto the heavens, Jesus…” – Hebrews 4:14
