2006: The Mothman Legend

Jack the Ripper, Dracula, Dr. Frankenstein’s monster, Bigfoot, Extraterrestrials… these creatures (among others) are the things that nightmares are made of. Let’s add one more to the ever-growing list of the things that scare us the most; The Mothman. The release of “The Mothmen prophecies” has renewed interest in this 40-year-old mystery, which brings us to the question at hand. What is the Mothman anyway? 2000: About Mothmen and Men in Black

What may well have been the most notorious of all “scares” involving reptilian beings, involved a combined “invasion” of pterodactylin-hominoid “Mothmen” and “Men In Black”. These creatures have been referred to as Mothmen, Winged Dracos, and Winged Serpents, depending on the source involved. They reportedly terrorized a particular area in West Virginia, according to John A. Keel, in the mid-1960’s.
