UFO GROUP INVESTIGATES QUEBEC ABDUCTION CASE

The UFO research group CEIPI of Hull, Quebec, Canada has completed its six-month investigation into the UFO flap in the Ottawa River Valley last winter.

On February 6, 1996, at 7:18 p.m., an unidentified boy age 12 spotted a UFO hovering over the city of Buckingham, Quebec. The boy described the object as “a large triangular vessel.”

That same night, at 7:30 p.m., farmer Louis Boisvert, 19, saw a UFO in the town of Thurso, 15 miles east of Buckingham. While plowing snow with his tractor, Boisvert saw “a set of red lights over a neighboring barn.” His tractor was about 330 meters (1,000 feet) from the barn.

“It was a large, very large metallic triangular vessel that measured approximately 150 feet (45 meters) long,” Boisvert said, “It was hovering over the barn in total silence. No hum, no buzz, no sizz, nothing.”

He said the UFO seemed to “very slowly go over the barn.” As it did so, he saw “the (triangular) shape and three lights at each one of the edges. The light coming out of these protuberances did not illuminate the ground or even the roof of the nearby barn. The UFO left in the direction of Buckingham, where it had come from.”

After the UFO had left, he and his father, Henri Boisvert, owner of the farm, noticed that their electric water pump would not function.

Troubled by recurring dreams, Louis Boisvert sought out the Hull UFO group. But when the CEIPI researchers put the youth under hypnosis, a more frightening tale emerged.

While under hypnosis, he said he hopped off the tractor and ran to their own barn the minute he saw the lights. His father was working in the barn, and he wanted to tell him to come and see the UFO.

As he rushed into the barn, he saw his father standing there with a blank expression on his face. Besides the 45-year-old Henri stood two reptilian aliens, with long faces, scaled leathery skin, black eyes, clawed hands, gaunt arms, and legs.

Then Boisvert and his father were reportedly taken aboard the triangular UFO by a squad of Reptilians. Henri Boisvert is not a farmer by trade. In his regular job, the elder Boisvert is a pilot for the Canadian government.

(Note: Back in March, workmen at a Quebec lumberyard watched a hovering UFO for 15 minutes. This sighting was in Waltham Station, 90 miles west of Buckingham and Thurso. For more information, see UFO ROUNDUP, Vol. 1, Number 4)

ISRAELI UFO FLAP ENTERS the SECOND WEEK

For the second week in a row, UFOs have been making late-night overflights over Israel. On Sunday, August 4, the police station in Eilat, Israel’s seaport on the Red Sea, received a phone call at 1:30 a.m. The caller reported “a glittering orb of light and flashes of light.”

Hundreds of Eilat residents watched the glowing ball of light as it emitted “periodic flashes of alternating colors.” A few of the witnesses reported seeing three spheres of light–“one large and two small, which emitted scintillating flashes of light.” The residents watched the aerial display until 2 a.m., using binoculars and home telescopes to get a better glimpse of the UFO.

On Thursday, August 1, residents of Moshav Tomar, in the Jordan River Valley, spotted a “round reflective object” at 4 a.m. A photo of the UFO appeared in the Israeli newspaper Maariv later the same morning.

On Monday, July 29, residents of Yad Eliyahu, a suburb of Tel Aviv reported seeing “bright lights in the skies” at 8:30 p.m. The light-spheres proceeded to emit smaller lights colored red, green, and blue. According to witnesses, “The colored lights seemed to emerge from the primary lights and continued to fly around independently.” The smaller lights were reported “the size of ping pong balls.

Israeli police called to the scene reported seeing the large bright light in the sky, which lingered until 4:45 a.m. However, the Zahal (Israeli Defense Forces) said they detected no radar returns from the aerial lights.

EARLY MORNING UFO SEEN BY COMMUTERS IN TEXAS

Odem, Texas (population-2,363) was the site of an early morning UFO incident on Friday, July 19, 1996. Commuters heading south on Texas Highway 37 to Corpus Christi saw a shiny metallic disc about 50 degrees above the southern horizon.

One eyewitness reported, “I was driving out of Odem at 6:13 a.m., on my way to work. While I was looking up at the clouds, I saw this metallic-looking thing flying around. It made a rumbling noise. This happened in less than 30 seconds.”

LUCKMAN SAYS UNCLE SAM TO ADMIT E.T.’s EXISTENCE

The New York Center for UFO Research is holding a star-studded press conference in the Sky Garden at the St. Moritz Hotel in Manhattan on Monday, August 12, 1996.

The August 11 issue of the New York Post (page 6) said the U.S. government is trying “to gradually prepare” the American public for a “bigger bombshell” than the recent announcement of fossilized bacteria on Mars.

The Post quoted Michael Luckman, director of the New York Center for UFO Research, as saying last week’s “earth-shattering Martian life announcement is really a government test balloon.”

“It’s nothing short of the government preparing us for contact with extraterrestrials in the very near future,” Luckman said. “This is part of a time-release program to gauge the public’s reaction before announcing contact with higher life forms. ‘Independence Day’ may just be a movie, but it’s interesting that both Bob Dole and Bill Clinton saw it and made sure to make public mention of it.”

NASA SAYS LIFE ONCE EXISTED ON MARS

On Wednesday, August 7, 1996, NASA director Daniel Goldin announced that an agency research team had discovered organic compounds in a meteorite that originated on the planet Mars.

The August 8 issue of USA TODAY reported, “The scientists based their findings on four key pieces of evidence; that the meteorite came from Mars and contains carbonate chemicals that could harbor life; that the rock’s mineralogy is biological in origin; that it contains organic material; and photos show evidence of microscopic fossils inside.”

“The road leading to these discoveries began in August 1994. That’s when scientists at NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston got part of a 4.1-pound, potato-shaped meteorite found in Antarctica a decade earlier.”

“At 4.5 billion years old, it’s the oldest of 12 known Martian meteorites on Earth and the only one to yield possible evidence of life.”

“The meteorite called Allan Hills 84001 is believed to have been knocked into space by an asteroid collision on Mars 16 million years ago. It crashed into the Allan Hills region of Antarctica 13,000 years ago.”

“Using a high-resolution electron microscope and a laser mass spectrometer they sliced into a two-gram fleck of the rock. Inside they found golden-colored specks of organic material. In and around the specks were microscopic fossilized worms 100 times smaller than the oldest fossils ever found on Earth, which also were worm-like.”

“Mars is a very inhospitable place right now for even the kind of lifeform we see here,” said David McKay, a NASA scientist who led a team of researchers on the Mars rock project. “At some point in Mars history, things went bad. We’re not sure when that was…things dried up. It is one view that early life retreated underground and may still be there…”

(Editorial Comment: So when did Mars dry up? Try the end of the Cambrian Period 500 million years ago. There was a tremendous catastrophe here on Earth at that time. Over 97 percent of the animal species found in the Burgess, B.C. shale became extinct in a very short time. Much like the sudden disappearance of the dinosaurs at the end of the Mesozoic Era. The cause of these mass die-offs is much debated but still unknown.)

A SIMILAR FOSSIL-ENCRUSTED METEOR HIT EARTH IN 1888

Early in 1888, a colorful green meteor appeared in the night sky over Middleburg, Florida, 20 miles southwest of Jacksonville. Several witnesses watched it hit the ground in an old cultivated farm field south of town. Approaching the smoking crater, they found what looked like “a 200-pound block of limestone.”

A few months later, the mystery meteorite was exhibited at the Sub-tropical Exposition and then went on display in Jacksonville. The stone was examined by a Dr. Hahn, who claimed to have found “miniature fossils” of corals, crinoids, and shells, “all of them of microscopic size” in the rock. Dr. Hahn photographed these microfossils of extraterrestrial life, wrote an article about them, and published both in Popular Science 20-83. News of the Middleburg meteor strike was reported in Science 11-118.

Dr. Hahn was roundly condemned by the scientific community for such heresy. In Knowledge 1-258, Dr. Lawrence Smith wrote, “Dr. Hahn is a kind of half-insane man, whose imagination has run away with him.” Dr. Smith, who never examined the actual meteor, advanced the opinion that the fossils were actually “crystals of enstatite.”

The Middleburg, Florida meteor and Dr. Hahn were rescued from oblivion by that indefatigable “foe of science,” Charles Fort, who wrote about them in his 1919 work BOOK OF THE DAMNED. (See THE BOOKS OF CHARLES FORT, Dover Press 1974, pages 79 and 80.)

“Science,” Fort once said, “is a mutilated octopus. If left to itself, it would feel its way into disturbing contacts.”

(Editorial Comment: Will Dr. Hahn receive an apology from Organized Crime…oops, I mean, Science now that, a century later, his pioneer work has been vindicated? Don’t hold your breath! Dr. Hahn will receive his apology the day after the FBI apologizes to their so-called “bombing suspect” Richard Jewell. Hey, who needs admissible evidence when the Bureau has its “profiles?”)
