1942: The Most Incredible Mass Sighting Of All? The Battle Of Los Angeles

Wednesday, February 25, 1942 By Jeff Rense Five years before Roswell, five years before pilot Kenneth Arnold‘s landmark sightings of “flying saucers” in the Pacific Northwest, 3 years before the Battle of the Bulge, two years before D-Day, and years before the so-called “modern UFO era” had officially begun, there was the Battle of Los Angeles, arguably the most sensational, dramatic UFO mass encounter on record. Have you ever heard of the Battle of Los Angeles? Few have. Imagine a visiting spacecraft from another world, or dimension, hovering over a panicked and blacked-out LA in the middle of the night just weeks after Pearl Harbor at the height of WWII fear and paranoia. Imagine how this huge ship, assumed to be some unknown Japanese aircraft, was then attacked as it […] Read More

1947: ARMY GETS AROUND TO CHECKING `FLYING DISC’ AND IS MYSTIFIED

Article from the: St Louis Post-Dispatch July 3, 1947 _______________________________ ARMY GETS AROUND TO CHECKING `FLYING DISC‘ AND IS MYSTIFIED WASHINGTON, July 3 (UP)- Army research experts can’t explain the ” flying saucers” reported seen in several western states, but they are investigating, they said. The Army air forces has checked all of their research authorities and contractors, but none of them knew or could suggest anything concrete about the “saucers. At first, Army officers laughed off the reports. Now they are beginning to take them at least a little seriously. At any rate, the Air Research Center at Wright Field, O., is looking into the reports, and all service intelligence agencies are at work on them. Army experts suggested-as a bare possibility-that some civilian […] Read More

1947: Nazi UFOs

Nazi UFOs (German: Haunebu, Hauneburg-Geräte, or Reichsflugscheiben) are advanced aircraft or spacecraft that Nazi Germany supposedly developed during World War II and Nazi scientists continued to develop afterward. These crafts appear not only in fiction but also in various historical revisionist writings. They often appear in connection with esoteric Nazism, an ideology that supposes the possibility of Nazi restoration by supernatural or paranormal means. Historical connections Nazi UFO theories agree with mainstream history on the following points: Nazi Germany claimed the territory of New Swabia, sent an expedition there in 1938 and planned others. Nazi Germany conducted research into advanced propulsion technology, including rocketry and Viktor Schauberger’s turbine work. Some UFO sightings during World War II, particularly those known as foo fighters, were thought […] Read More

1971: Official U.S. Navy Photos of Arctic UFOs Encounter LEAKED

A set of newly-released photos detail the U.S. Navy’s close encounter with an enormous UFO/USO. The case was submitted to The Black Vault by researcher/investigator Alex Mistretta, who in turn got them from one of his anonymous sources in Europe. An interesting story is attached to these photos. In March 1971, the USS Trepang, a Sturgeon Class attack submarine, was on a routine military and scientific mission at the edge of the Arctic Ocean. The exact location of the sighting is unknown, but the submarine’s position was somewhere between Iceland and the Jan Mayen island in the Atlantic. The unidentified object was first spotted through the periscope by an officer named John Kilika and the photos were taken by an unnamed officer. The quality […] Read More

1988: GOVERNMENT INVOLVEMENT IN THE UFO COVERUP

(based on FOIA Papers and personal testimony) Version 2.09 COPYRIGHT SEPTEMBER 8, 1988 by PEA RESEARCH ULTRA MAJIC BBS, (916)684-5578 …………………………………………………… Apr. 17, 1897..Aurora, TX: An airship supposedly crashed into Judge Proctor’s (nonexistent) windmill and disgorged the mangled body of a little man believed, for unspecified reasons, to hail from the planet Mars. This (supposedly) turned out to be a publicity stunt for the town, whose population and economy were on the decline. 1922………..County Donegal, Ireland: Irish Republic Army man, Lawrence Bradley, wrote to the editor of “Watford and West-Hersts Post” magazine (4/30/64) that while he was fighting a scattered rear- guard, mostly in the mountains of Donegal, he came upon a cave with vegetation at the entrance that had been scorched. The only occupants in the cave were the sick and the […] Read More

1990: In search of “Foo-Fighters”

WW II Document Research By Andy Roberts (Originally published in UFO BRIGANTIA No 66, JULY 1990) Every student of the history of UFOs knows of the phenomenon seen during WWII and known as foo-fighters, kraut fireballs, or a variety of other names. Basically they were balls of light which followed and hovered around `planes of all nationalities both in daylight and after dark. Research into this subject has been undertaken by myself on behalf of the Fund for UFO Research. Foo-fighter research shows the genesis of the modern UFO age and during my research, I came across the old chestnut of the dreaded government “cover-ups”. For many ufologists, WWII is the time when the cover-up really began and there are intimations in many writers’ […] Read More

1992: A Missing Pentacle

The so-called “Pentacle Memorandum” convinced UFO researcher Jacques Vallee that the US government had been toying with the official UFO investigations, and that these were a front for something else… if not something more sinister. Philip Coppens In Forbidden Science (1992), Jacques Vallee, who was the inspiration for one of the main characters in Spielberg’s Close Encounters of the Third Kind, reports how in 1967 he found Allen Hynek’s UFO files to be in serious disarray. On Sunday, June 18, 1967, Vallee tried to restore some order in the files and “found a letter which is especially remarkable because of the new light it throws on the key period of the Robertson Panel and of Report #14”. This was the report that was also […] Read More

1997: ANTI-GRAVITY, ANTI-MATTER: A DISCUSSION OF PROPULSION TECHNOLOGIES AND BACK-ENGINEERING

Delta UFO, ” The Descent“, ©1996, 1997, Dave Kauble. ARTICLE BY Dave Kauble ________________________________________ This article focuses on propulsion systems, primarily anti-gravity and anti-matter. Several press releases, scientific articles, and science shows have appeared recently which causes us to focus on a significant coincidence. This article attempts to spread light on these coincidences. To do so, we’ll focus on several pieces of a larger puzzle. These pieces are a collection of information from various news and television sources. First, we’ll cover the Bob Lazar “revelations”. S-4, or Papoose Lake, Near Groom Lake, or area 51, or Dreamland, is the subject of a recent Discovery Channel episode. One of the most interesting parts of this program centered on the story of Bob Lazar, a jet-propulsion car builder who claims that […] Read More

1998: Nellis, UFO Buffs, War Games And Deadly Crashes

Source: The Las Vegas Sun [NV] Date: Sept 5 1998 Tim Dahlberg [AP] LAS VEGAS – The F-117 stealth fighter flew secret nighttime tests there. So did the U-2 and other spy planes. UFO buffs believe the government studies aliens in a top-security area on its northern fringe. Military mysteries aside, it’s no secret Nellis Air Force Base range can be a deadly place. The crash of two helicopters about 25 miles south of the top-secret Area 51 section of the range in the early morning darkness Friday was the latest deadly mishap in an area where pilots and crew practice dangerous war games nearly every day high above desert floor. Though Area 51 and its secret programs are steeped in mystery, the war games […] Read More

1999:The French Cometa Report

On Friday July 16, 1999 an important document was published in France entitled “UFOs and Defense: What must we be prepared for?” (“Les Ovni Et La Défense: A quoi doit-on se préparer?”). This ninety-page report is the result of an in-depth study of UFOs, covering many aspects of the subject, especially questions of national defense. The study was carried out over several years by an independent group of former “auditors” at the Institute of Advanced Studies for National Defense, or IHEDN, and by qualified experts from various fields. Before its public release, it has been sent to French President Jacques Chirac and to Prime Minister Lionel Jospin. THE ESSENTIAL: In its conclusion, COMETA claims that the physical reality of UFOs, under control of intelligent […] Read More
