One of my particular dislikes is when film or photos were taken of U. f. O’s are confiscated and destroyed by the authorities, Some years ago, many U.F.O enthusiasts and curious onlookers would gather in the Warminster area of Britain, where sightings had been reported. You gradually get to know people by sight and some you get to know very well through sharing stories and opinions of what the U.F.O phenomena actually is. I always watch for anyone behaving out of the ordinary, and one particular guy would stand away and never mix, and I once followed him when he left a scene of several reported sightings. I was perturbed that he had parked his car about half a mile away, and while walking […] Read More

BY STEVEN M. GREER, M.D. A comprehensive analysis of the UFO phenomenon, as well as original research and experiences of members of the CSETI CE-5 Initiative Working Group, has enabled us to make some specific conclusions about UFOs, Extraterrestrial Intelligence and their motives. The summation of this analysis, which follows, is intended to assist both groups and individuals in their efforts to understand this complex subject. We have recorded only those conclusions for which we have a high level of certainty. GENERAL CONCLUSIONS Some UFOs are extraterrestrial spacecraft (ETS) which are piloted by extraterrestrial biological entities (EBEs) who originate on another planet, and most likely another star system. More than one extraterrestrial civilization is represented in the current activities involving Earth. These extraterrestrial civilizations […] Read More
By Don Berliner, The Fund for UFO Research, Inc.; 2002 About the only point that can be made concerning UFOs without the risk of starting an unpleasant controversy is that they are supremely controversial. Any discussion of their nature, their origins, their significance and, indeed, their very existence, has led to long-term arguments that have yet to reach any generally agreed-upon conclusion. On the pivotal questions of their being real and of a novel nature, the reasons employed by the negative side focus on the lack of scientifically acceptable proof of the presence of a single UFO. Expert testimony, photographs and radar trackings are discounted as insufficiently scientific. And since UFOs are so often equated with extraterrestrial spacecraft, the negative side points to the […] Read More
by Ed Komarek One of the major stumbling blocks that I come across in regards to informing the government and mass media propagandized public on UFO issues is exemplified in a question I hear a lot from laypeople. The question is, “So what if extraterrestrials are real, what difference does it make if aliens exist? I don’t see how any of this is affecting or going to affect me for better or worse?” Questions like these are always in the back of my mind as I try to do my part in fighting for the people’s right to know the truth about extraterrestrial realities. In this article, I try to point out that UFO/ET reality is a significant contributing factor to global and national […] Read More
Several years ago, the Disney company aired a major one-hour television Special, with no advance notice, on stations in only 5 US cities. Thanks to a few viewers who were able to roll their VCRs and capture it, we have a record of the startling quotes and statements it contained. In light of the current, purported ‘rift’ between Disney and NASA over the content of Disney’s new film, “Mission To Mars”, I thought it pertinent to revisit those quotes. My thanks to my colleague Michael Lindemann of CNI News for his file containing the many arresting and downright shocking statements in that Disney special…which appears now, as it did then, to have been a definite probe to measure public reaction to news of the […] Read More
Mainstream ufology needs to re-invent itself. The concepts, beliefs and fundamental assumptions that have driven it over its first half-century of existence are due for a major overhaul. Mainstream ufology espousing one or another form of the Extra-Terrestrial Hypothesis or ETH would be wise to acknowledge its cultural and historical roots as a bit of Forties and Fifties Americana. This is currently being extended beyond its shelf-life. One potential re-invention is “earth lights” research: the study of glowing, polymorphous forms by night either stationary or aerobatic, ranging from inches to several yards across – and shiny metallic or pitch-black forms by day. (The term “earth lights” is simply a nickname to distinguish the phenomena from ideas of ET craft.) To the […] Read More
A national poll finds that Americans believe in a fantastic future filled with technological, medical and space-age advances. By Thomas Hargrove and Joseph Bernt / Scripps Howard News Service Most Americans believe that the next 1,000 years will be filled with discoveries and glittering technology that would dumbfound Jules Verne. We expect the future to be filled with friendly space aliens, unborn children nurtured inside mechanical wombs and medical cures for ancient scourges such as cancer and even the common cold. Despite the promise of human advancements, we overwhelmingly believe that God will still be worshiped, that Christianity will remain the dominant religion and that professional athletics will still be cheered come the year 3000, according to a nationwide survey of 1,015 adults conducted […] Read More
Chapter 7 “Electric Flying Machines” — Thomas Townsend Brown “Lost Science” by Gerry Vassilatos The limited permission granted to use this material in other presentations. ISBN 0-932813-75-5 © 1999 CAVERNOUS SPACE For the enthralled onlookers who reported the mysterious and luminary “aeroships” during the 1890’s, cavernous space seemed to be opening new secrets and potentials for humanity. The whole nation watched the night skies for signs of strange crafts, ships “from an unknown world”. Aeroship sightings swept the country long before the press could reach and contaminate the more susceptible with the furor of panic and mass hysteria. It was the only such mass event in recent time in which unidentified flying objects were sighted, not by media-precipitation, but through direct and […] Read More
The Condon Report: Introduction The “Scientific Study of Unidentified Flying Objects” (Condon & Gillmor 1969; often referred to as the “Condon Report”) presents the findings of the Colorado Project regarding a scientific study of unidentified flying objects. It remains the most influential public document concerning the current scientific status of the UFO issue. Following is a short chronology of events that led to the Air Force contract with the University of Colorado to initiate the study. This extract is from: “An Analysis of the Condon Report on the Colorado UFO Project,” by P.A. Sturrock, Center for Space Science and Astrophysics, Stanford University. Dr. Sturrock’s analysis is highly recommended as a comprehensive introduction to the text. Additionally, we have included many relevant links that offer […] Read More
Dennis Stacy, Editor, MUFON UFO Journal original source The acronym UFO – for Unidentified Flying Object – is so prevalent and commonplace today, that it’s easy to forget the term is not even fully fifty years old yet. There is even some dispute about the acronym’s exact origin. In his classic account of his years spent as the director of Project Blue Book – the Air Force’s official UFO “investigation” agency – Capt. Edward J. Ruppelt says unequivocally that “UFO is the official term that I created to replace the words ‘flying saucers’” (Report on Unidentified Flying Objects, Doubleday, 1956, p. 6). Presumably, this would have been sometime between 1951, when Ruppelt took over Project Grudge, later renamed Blue Book, and September of 1953, […] Read More
Shane Hill, 7-21-2000 This article is part off a small series dealing with the suspected origins of UFO’s. There are three main theories the EBH or Earth Bound Theorem,. The OWH or Off World Theorem which proposes that UFO’s are from outer space. Finally the Mystic or occult theory which can be divided into two distinct areas of belief or opinion, the occult being that UFO’s are from other realms. Purveyors of this theory tend to raise numerous scientific sounding arguments for their position. Interestingly science itself is now theorizing that there are indeed other dimensions. Lastly the religious or mystical proponents who believe that UFO’s are the work of the devil himself. All three of the categories for theory have numerous sub theories […] Read More
While most sights described as UFOs turn out to be misidentified known natural and artificial phenomena, many hundreds do not. It is these that form the core of the UFO mystery. That UFOs constitute a distinct category of describable sights is based on hundreds of highly detailed and consistent descriptions by professionals (especially airline and military pilots) of their close-up, broad daylight observations of unique flying machines. This is supported by the permanent files of the U. S. Air Force‘s Project Blue Book UFO investigation (1948-1969). Of 572 cases admittedly unidentified (and not simply lacking sufficient information), 15% (85) are from military pilots, most of them the USAF’s own. Adding to them the unexplained sightings by commercial airline and professional test pilots, the figure […] Read More
The UFO Briefing Document, Don Berliner, et. al. As long as men and women have talked about strange sights in the skies, two primary questions have been asked about what has come to be called Unidentified Flying Objects: Are they real, or are they just honest mistakes? If they are real, could they be ships from some other world? In this century, it started with the “foo fighters” of World War II: glowing balls that flew in formation or “played tag” with military airplanes over Europe and the Pacific. Suspected of being prototype enemy weapons, they never displayed hostility and when the war was over, they were all-but-forgotten. In 1946, the Scandinavian countries reported many hundreds of “ghost rockets” which flew low and silently, […] Read More
Shane Hill As with any field of study, ufology should be looked at through the eye of scientific inquiry. Regardless of how those that call themselves regular scientists see it, we must see it that way. Had we been taking the right approach since Kenneth Arnold had his sighting then perhaps ufology might not have the stigmata associated with it that it does. Gather enough facts, place them all together ask the right questions then things start to appear, small similarities, patterns, or clues start to creep out from the mountains of data that most of us seem to collect. This is one reason I recommend a database, every enthusiastic hobbyist or serious investigator will have a database. Many have designed their own, today’s […] Read More
