PROJECT GRUDGE/BLUE BOOK

[The is only one of many files which I intend to upload that substantiate the information contained in my MAJIC. TXT. – Bill Cooper] A series of PROJECT GRUDGE/BLUE BOOK reports have been released over the years in connection with the USAF’s investigation into UFO’s which was supposedly terminated with the release of the Condon report in the late 1960s. Reports 1 through twelve of GRUDGE/BLUE BOOK were generally innocuous and contained no classified or truly sensitive material. The Condon Report: Introduction The “Scientific Study of Unidentified Flying Objects” (Condon & Gillmor 1969; often referred to as the “Condon Report”) presents the findings of the Colorado Project regarding a scientific study of unidentified flying objects. It remains the most influential public document concerning the current scientific status of the UFO issue. Following is a short chronology of events that led to the Air Force contract with the University of Colorado to initiate the study. July 3, 1947; Harborside, Maine. 2:30 p.m.  EDT. Witness: astronomer John Cole of South Brooksville, Me. Watched 10-15 seconds while ten very light objects, with two dark forms to their left, moved like a swarm of bees to the northwest.  A loud roar was heard. July 4, 1947; over Emmet, Idaho. 8:17 p.m.  PDT. Witnesses: United Air Lines Capt. E.J. Smith, First Officer Ralph Stevens, Stewardess Marty Morrow. Watched for 12-15 minutes while four objects with flat bottoms and rough tops moved at varying speeds, with one high and to the right of the others. July 6, 1947; Fairfield-Suisan Air Base, California. 1992: A missing Pentacle

The so-called “Pentacle Memorandum” convinced UFO researcher Jacques Vallee that the US government had been toying with the official UFO investigations and that these were a front for something else… if not something more sinister. Philip Coppens Jacques Vallee & Allen Hynek In Forbidden Science (1992), Jacques Vallee, who was the inspiration for one of the main characters in Spielberg’s Close Encounters of the Third Kind, reports how in 1967 he found Allen Hynek’s UFO files to be in serious disarray.
