In the 1980s, Medellin, Colombia, developed a reputation as the most violent city in the world due to the drug cartel run by Pablo Escobar. The violence and crime began to drop almost immediately after Escobar was killed on December 2, 1993. Today, Medellin is the second-largest city in Colombia and has become a model city, attracting businesses, investors, and … UFOs.

If 2014 is any indication, Medellin is fast developing into Earth’s beacon for extraterrestrial visitors. The latest sighting occurred on November 16th and a video of the UFO was uploaded to the Internet in early December.

Some who watch the video think the object is a balloon or a blimp, possibly tethered to the ground and advertising an upcoming sports event. However, the object is quite a distance away and over a forest – not exactly a prime spot for advertising.

On May 25th, this video was taken of an unidentified object hovering over Medellin. —GONE

What’s interesting about this one is that another UFO was spotted in the same location almost exactly one year prior, on May 21, 2013. Coincidence or is an ET visiting relatives in Medellin for a late May birthday or anniversary?

On Feb. 17, 2014, this unusual object was seen over Medellin and captured on video.

Shaped like a star or a pentacle, this one is rimmed with lights. From the voices on the video, it sounds like there were numerous witnesses watching the UFO as it flew in front of them until passing behind a building.

What could be attracting so many UFOs to Medellin? Are the visitors impressed that at least one place on Earth has reformed its evil ways and turned itself into a model city? Or perhaps it’s because of the nearby mines which supply 80% of Colombia’s gold. Whatever the reason, maybe we should keep an eye on Medellin too.
