Starting on March 13th in Arizona, thousands of people reported formations of circular orange lights moving silently over the Valley of the Sun. The slow-moving UFO was seen from multiple cities on a path from Las Vegas to Phoenix, including Kingman and Prescott. Several dozen people shot videotapes – some of which focused on the lights for up to 106 continuous minutes. A few bits were shown soon after on “Strange Universe”. The clips I saw were the best night-time videos I’d ever seen. They showed numerous lights all in a straight line, in an arrowhead formation, four across upfront with two more trailing behind out to the sides, and also banking in on a curve and appearing out of nowhere – first three […] Read More

Roswell: Clashing Visions of the Possible By Michael Swords Roswell is obviously a highly divisive topic in ufology. People accept or reject it, often emotionally, for reasons which seem to the listener unclear, even after patient attention. The possibility of a crashed disk, and the necessary astoundingly successful security required, alternatively violates or coheres with visions of reality held dear by the loudest, and occasionally less civil, discussants. But these deeper visions of reality, or what the writers and speakers of these schools want to believe, remain largely undescribed. This paper would like to pretend for the moment that such individuals and their constricting views of reality are not part of the serious Roswell exploration, as I believe they are not, no matter how […] Read More
[The is only one of many files which I intend to upload that substantiate the information contained in my MAJIC. TXT. – Bill Cooper] A series of PROJECT GRUDGE/BLUE BOOK reports have been released over the years in connection with the USAF’s investigation into UFO’s which was supposedly terminated with the release of the Condon report in the late 1960s. Reports 1 through twelve of GRUDGE/BLUE BOOK were generally innocuous and contained no classified or truly sensitive material. There was a final report, #14 which was widely circulated and about which an entire book was written: FLYING SAUCERS: AN ANALYSIS OF THE AIR FORCE PROJECT BLUE BOOK SPECIAL REPORT NO. 14 by Leon Davidson: the fifth edition was published in 1976 by Blue-Book Publishers; […] Read More
This article about the “Carter Document” has been edited several times by both Robert M. Collins and “ORTK Editor”. This article is a somewhat pre-sequel to the “Yellow Book” article I placed a few days ago. That article had references to this one. This piece has been provided by Robert M. Collins. All text edited by him is copyrighted by him. FULL TEXT OF “EXECUTIVE BRIEFING: PROJECT AQUARIUS” [ ORTK Editor’s Note: The following transcript of an alleged MJ-12 briefing provided to then-President Jimmy Carter has been provided by researcher Lee Graham, a recipient of the document. Graham states that he received the document on June 13, 1991, from researcher William Moore, with the permission of a Defense Intelligence Agency official code-named “Falcon,” a member […] Read More
The Center For UFO Studies Response To The Air Force’s 1997 Report The Roswell Report: Case Closed by Mark Rodeghier OVERVIEW In June of this year, the Air Force released their second massive report on the now well–known Roswell incident that occurred in and near Roswell, New Mexico in early July, 1947. The first Air Force report in September 1994 concluded that the debris found by rancher Mac Brazel was from an Army Air Forces balloon–borne research project code named MOGUL. Despite the seeming finality of that first report, the Air Force clearly felt the need to release a new report that discusses the claims of alien bodies that were found at a second location in New Mexico in 1947. The new report concludes that: […] Read More

(Excerpted from a slightly different version of a chapter in Kooks: A Guide to the Outer Limits of Human Belief) “If the evidence doesn’t seem to fit a particular conspiracy theory, just create a bigger conspiracy theory.” — Robert D. Hicks, In Pursuit of Satan “I am still searching for the truth. I firmly believe that this book is closer to the truth than anything ever previously written.” —William Cooper, Behold a Pale Horse Conspiracy theories are like black holes; they explain everything, sucking in facts the way black holes suck in the matter. And, like black holes, each conspiracy theory is a portal to another universe that paradoxically resides within our own. Gerald K. Haines An extraordinary 95 percent of all Americans have at least heard or read something about Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs), and 57 percent believe they are real. (1) Former US Presidents Carter and Reagan claim to have seen a UFO. UFOlogists–a neologism for UFO buffs–and private UFO organizations are found throughout the United States. Many are convinced that the US Government, and particularly CIA, are engaged in a massive conspiracy and coverup of the issue. The idea that CIA has secretly concealed its research into UFOs has been a major theme of UFO buffs since the modern UFO phenomena emerged in the late 1940s. (2) In late 1993, after being pressured by UFOlogists for the release of additional CIA information on UFOs, […] Read More
Editor’s Note: Robert A. Galganski has a master’s degree in civil engineering and is employed as a ground vehicle crash safety systems research and development specialist. He received the Ufologist of the Year award at the 1997 National UFO Conference in Springfield, Ohio, for his contributions to Roswell Incident research. Article from the International UFO Reporter, Summer 1998, Volume 23, Number 2. An Engineer Looks at the Project Mogul Hypothesis by Robert A. Galganski In early July 1947, Mac Brazel, foreman of the Foster sheep ranch northwest of Roswell, New Mexico, discovered a large quantity of extremely unusual, widely scattered, and highly fragmented lightweight debris on a pasture. The Army initially attributed it to the misidentified remnants of a downed weather balloon and an attached radar target. Forty-seven years later, the Air Force explained the […] Read More

And maybe an autopsied alien body or two. Others believe the military base in the southern Nevada desert is the testing grounds for America’s most secret military machines, everything from the F-117 stealth fighter to electromagnetic pulse weapons that would make Buck Rogers nervous. What is certain is that there is something out there in that moonscape property north of Las Vegas. By Thomas Hargrove Scripps Howard News Service Many people who believe in UFOs also think that “Area 51” — dried-up Groom Lake in Nevada — is where the Air Force keeps the flying saucers it captured. What also is certain is that 1,851 federal civilian workers are employed in […] Read More
by Norio Hayakawa (Groomwatch@aol.com) There is no substance whatsoever to the ridiculous rumor that AREA 51 and its operations were abandoned and were relocated elsewhere, such as to Utah. Basically, this rumor had originated from what appeared to be a disinformative article that first appeared in the June 1997 issue of POPULAR MECHANICS. The unexpected article no doubt was greatly “appreciated” by Nellis AFB and particularly those at the “remote operating base” at Groom Lake, Nevada. The folks at Nellis AFB probably rolled on floor laughing over the article, which was for the most part filled with factual errors, much to their absolute delight!! The June, 1997, POPULAR MECHANICS piece also must have brought much delight to the then Secretary of the Air Force, […] Read More
