Project HAARP

HAARP is an acronym that stands for High-frequency Active Auroral Research Program. Its official purpose is to study the ionosphere and its main installations are in Alaska, though other facilities are involved, too. Most researchers agree that the official program is just a cover for a wide range of other experiments.
