by Vince Johnson Master hypnotherapist Derrell Sims has been taking a different approach to the abduction phenomenon. Sims uses forensic hypnotic regression as well as a barrage of other techniques to break through induced amnesia and screen memories that mask the abduction experiences of his clients, who usually come to him only knowing that they experienced something weird, like missing time, or paint mysteriously bubbling off their car at night. “When someone comes to me and says ‘I’ve been abducted by aliens,’ it’s almost always fantasy or delusion,” says Sims. He takes a different approach, however, by utilizing “active measures” to deal with abductees’ interactions with their abductors. As chairman of HUFON’s Abductions Investigation Committee, Sims, along with his research assistants Patrice Eldridge and […] Read More

The UFO phenomena, like any covert operation builds instant distrust by it’s very nature of secrecy and hidden agendas. A new phenomena which I have called “Master / Slave” has come to the fore. An abductee’s mind has been so messed up by ongoing abductions, mind scans, mis- information from the aliens that they look inside to the spiritual sense of the abduction. Such phrases as, “you are special”, or “chosen”, or “you are saving the human race from certain cataclysm”, no matter, builds a “mission quest” into the psyche. This I feel stops the abductee going insane. (Often the search for deeper meaning and understanding in any experience either good or bad triggers the beginning of the healing process). You want to understand […] Read More
Date: Sun, 22 Mar 1998 22:35:41 -0800 From: Jon Roland Most persons have heard about the reports of alien abductions, with varying degrees of credence and willingness to think about something that, if true, is of profound importance to everything we hold important. One of the most important researchers in this field is Dr. David Jacobs, Professor of History at Temple University. He has made a serious scientific effort to separate out the abduction reports that are credible, that come from otherwise normal, credible persons, especially those whose abductions are corroborated by third party witnesses and physical evidence. Some of these remember the incidents without the aid of hypnosis. Others are able to recall the incidents with the aid of hypnosis. Dr. Jacobs has […] Read More
The following was taken from the UFO Sky Searchers International list. This letter is being sent anonymously for a very good reason. I don’t want my name attached to this subject in any way, shape or form. I have worked very hard to get three university degrees and gain my professional status. I could not jeopardize my credibility. I never believed in UFOs nor aliens. I thought it was all in people’s minds as were the “faeries” and leprechauns of old European folklore. My sister then began complaining about strange dreams, and later claimed to have seen a UFO which followed her home from work late one night. She later received strange telephone calls with the noise of “pots and pans” banging in the […] Read More
1988 by Martin Kottmeyer As claims about the reality of alien abductions multiply, the assertion is increasingly heard that psychology offers little or no insight into how such experiences could occur if they are unreal. Abductees are normal people. Tests prove it. How, then, could normal people make such impossible claims as those found in abduction narratives and not be right? If this assertion is true, the theatre version of the UFO phenomenon is in jeopardy. To the extent that the UFO phenomenon is a genre of theatre and an expression of the human imagination, it must be amenable to psychological study. Clearly this is a paradox that needs to be addressed. Drama is quintessentially involved with conflict, the exercise of power. Aliens and their […] Read More
BETTY HILL and her husband Barney were apparently abducted by the occupants of a UFO in September 1961. The event became the template for the ever more elaborate abduction claims that we hear today. But they don’t impress Betty Hill, as PETER BROOKESMITH discovered when he visited her at home in New Hampshire. I’d heard about Betty’s acerbic opinions of the modern abduction phenomenon on the ufological grapevine. Naturally I wondered how far and in what ways we might agree. We talked a lot about cats (about 15 condescend to frequent her house) and politics and her own abduction, but her less than dewy-eyed approach to most of today’s abduction claims will probably surprise people more. Those who promote the abduction phenomenon or, by […] Read More
RIMA E. LAIBOW, M.D. Child and Adult Psychiatry Cerridwen 13 Summit Terrace Dobbs’ Ferry, NY 10522 (914)693-3081 Clinical Discrepancies between expected and observed data in patients reporting UFO Abductions: Implications for Treatment ABSTRACT: IT SHOULD BE NOTED THAT THIS PAPER MAKES NO ATTEMPT TO ASSIGN OR WITHHOLD EXTERNAL VALIDITY RELATIVE TO UFO ABDUCTION SCENARIOS. Patients who believe themselves to be UFO abductees are a heterogeneous group widely dispersed along demographic and cultural lines. Careful examination of these patients and their abduction reports presents four areas of significant discrepancy between expected and observed data. Implications for the treatment of patients presenting UFO abduction scenarios are discussed. INTRODUCTION If a patient were to confide to a therapist that he had been abducted by aliens who took […] Read More
The following excerpt is from a work in progress, Demon Possession and Alien Abduction: Similarities of an Enigma, by R.G. Teets, copyright 1996, Headline Books, Inc. (TerraAlta@aol.com) I cannot unequivocally state that so-called demons or extraterrestrials are, in fact, objectively real. But as I continue to research subjects seemingly connected with the UFO phenomenon, it is apparent from a great number of percipients I’ve interviewed (and collateral research, as well) that the net effects of many, but certainly not all, of these interactions, be they with non-human intelligence or with other states of mind (i.e. consciousness and all of its various aberrations) appear to demonstrate many similarities between the UFO abduction experience and demonic/spirit possession. This is not to eliminate other possibilities (for a […] Read More
By Budd Hopkins This is the way the New York Times should have headlined their July 6 science section piece on the poorly understood phenomenon of sleep paralysis. Unfortunately, however, the headline read “Alien Abduction? Science Calls It Sleep Paralysis” [my emphasis], suggesting to the world that the UFO abduction phenomenon has at last been successfully explained away. Nothing could be farther from the truth. Junk Science is the proper designation for the many outlandish, irrelevant and unsupported hypotheses debunkers have employed over the years to dismiss UFO abductions (some of which I will discuss in future articles). Non-junk Science – the real thing, based upon the scientific method – begins by amassing and studying all the accurate, relevant data before any serious hypothesizing […] Read More
This session was focused on a particular experience of “L.” The background was that she had an appointment for a series of MRIs to be made to replace a similar series that had been made several months previously but had been “misplaced” by the medical facility. She was worried about being able to go to sleep due to the strange events surrounding this loss of films. The MRIs were required for the ongoing therapy L was receiving as a result of an automobile accident which left her almost totally unable to use her left arm and in constant pain. After lying down, L had been thinking about the MRIs and then there seemed to be a sort of “blank-out” and she came to herself […] Read More
This is an assorted collection of excerpts relating to specific questions about different aliens and abduction processes asked by various guests at the sessions at various times. For the most part, they are self-explanatory. Q: (L) Who are the beings that have been abducting Karla Turner and her family? A: Lizards. Q: (L) Why have they been abducting that group of people? A: Same reasons they have been abducting you and Fred. Q: (L) They have been abducting Karla Turner and her family because they perceive them as a threat and wish to drive them to self-destruction? A: Yes. Q: (L) In one abduction she described in this book, what was the black shadowy thing that seemed like a moving “nothing” on the ground? […] Read More
Q: (L) I read the new book by Dr. David Jacobs, professor of History at Temple University, concerning his extensive research into the alien abduction phenomenon. [Dr. Jacobs wrote his Ph.D. thesis on the history of the UFOs.] Dr. Jacobs says that now, after all of these years of somewhat rigorous research, that he KNOWS what the aliens are here for and he is afraid. David Jacobs says that producing offspring is the primary objective behind the abduction phenomenon. Is this, in fact, the case? A: Part, but not “the whole thing.” Q: (L) Is there another dominant reason? A: Replacement. Q: (L) Replacement of what? A: You. Q: (L) How do you mean? Creating a race to replace human beings, or abducting specific […] Read More
Q: (L) How is it that other-dimensional or density beings enter our density? A: This is complex, but best described as “EM wave bursts along with frequency border variation.” Q: (L) Is there some way to stop this? A: You do not yet completely understand all the “mechanics” of the window phenomenon. The physicality is entirely transitory and partially dependent upon consciousness variabilities, as well as expectations of witnesses. Q: (L) Does the energy of the fear of the witness enable the alien to continue its operation in 3rd density? Does it feed on the excitement and fear, and is that what makes it manifest? A: Close, but off a little. It is the other way around and retro-factored by one half. Q: (L) […] Read More
This is a rather long series of linked pages that will, step-by-step, develop the ideas necessary as a background to understand the Cassiopaean comments on abductions and other trans-density phenomena. It is advisable to read all of it, no matter how difficult unless, of course, the preparatory material is already familiar to the reader. For those who wish to know in advance what is in store, I have created the following brief descriptions of the topics covered on each page. Part I: Cassiopaean comments on the differences between “dimension” and “density.” Excerpts from other works that demonstrate the universality of the phenomenon of “other densities” and other modes of perception, including the use of hallucinogens or other shamanic practices, and a comparison to “partial […] Read More
