A Saudi Airlines jetliner encountered “a bright greenish object” while flying at 12,000 feet early Thursday morning, December 12, 1996. The encounter took place over the ocean about ten miles south of East Moriches, Long Island, New York. According to the USA Radio News broadcast on Friday, the Saudi jetliner was coming into John F.
