WEIRD “SAUCER” OVER CANTERBURY” the Sydney Sun-Herald of March 8th, 1967 reported: “Two sisters described this week how they stood on a veranda together and watched a flying saucer hover over a Canterbury bowling green. They said the saucer was a “strange round thing” and it made a “weird humming sound.” “It came down to tree-top level and was less than 100 feet from where they stood. The woman who first made the sighting is Mrs. D. Manhood, of Wairoa […] Read More

UFOs SUB ROSA* DOWN UNDER THE AUSTRALIAN MILITARY & GOVERNMENT ROLE IN THE UFO CONTROVERSY By Bill Chalker copyright ©1996 Part Two THE “SEA FURY” ENCOUNTER One of the most controversial radar visual reports of the fifties occurred on August 31st, 1954. The story leaked out in December, 1954, and made front page headlines. The official navy file on the event remained classified until the Directorate of Naval Intelligence released a copy upon my request in 1982. During his 1973 visit to Australia, Dr. Hynek was able to interview the pilot involved in this famous incident, which became known as the “Sea Fury” encounter. Dr. Hynek made his notes on this interview available to me during my 1984 visit to the Chicago headquarters of his organization, the Center […] Read More
Starting on March 13th in Arizona, thousands of people reported formations of circular orange lights moving silently over the Valley of the Sun. The slow-moving UFO was seen from multiple cities on a path from Las Vegas to Phoenix, including Kingman and Prescott. Several dozen people shot videotapes – some of which focused on the lights for up to 106 continuous minutes. A few bits were shown soon after on “Strange Universe”. The clips I saw were the best night-time videos I’d ever seen. They showed numerous lights all in a straight line, in an arrowhead formation, four across upfront with two more trailing behind out to the sides, and also banking in on a curve and appearing out of nowhere – first three […] Read More
By Harv Howard Perhaps many persons over the course of history have been contacted one way or another by superior beings. Ezekiel in the Christian Bible is probably the oldest and best-known example of an individual encounter. In more modern times under the guise of UFO encounters, there have been thousands of accounts preserved and reported in books, articles and on television. Since the UFO phenomena remain largely a mystery, each of these accounts regardless of content is important to our developing a comprehensive understanding of the many aspects of the UFO puzzle. Most of the reports captured in words and tape come from second, third, or further removed sources from the actual witness. Few of the accounts are the exact word-for-word records of […] Read More
LEIR, SIMS, 3rd WITNESS SAY L.A. “METEOR” WAS UFO Alleged Military Source Says Craft Landed, Took Off Again Update of 1/26/97 [In the last edition of CNI News, we reported on a spectacular aerial event that occurred the night of October 3, 1996 and was viewed across the western United States from the Mexican border to northern California. Experts at UCLA and Sandia National Laboratory labeled the phenomenon an extraordinary meteor that may have entered the earth’s atmosphere, bounced back into space, orbited the planet and re-entered again before falling to earth somewhere in California — a sequence of events calculated to explain the wide variety of sighting reports that flooded police, radio and television news lines that night. But that explanation does not […] Read More
FORT BENNING, Ga. — The truth may be out there for UFO conspiracy buffs, but here military officials admit flying saucers have taken over the skies. The U.S. Army has been test-flying the CYPHER Unmanned Aerial Vehicle – a doughnut-shaped aircraft – for the past six years at the military post just outside of Columbus. CYPHER uses two sets of rotating blades that are mounted in the aircraft’s centre to propel the machine. Hence, giving the aircraft its whirring sound and UFO look. The aircraft’s design allows it to hover over an area for as long as the fuel lasts. That capability distinguishes it from other unmanned aircraft currently being tested, said Mike Barnes, project director at the military post. CYPHER, which earned its […] Read More
Date: Thu, 24 Dec 1998 12:51:58 -0800 (PST) From: Michael Barton Add to Address Book Subject: Nazi-UFO connection To: alandewalton@yahoo.com My name is Mike Barton. My research into Soviet strategy has led me to pull together many of of the same strands that you have examined, and place them into a biblical context. The rest of the email summarizes what I have been able to distill from the various disciplines involved. I do not believe that the UFO phenomenon is extraterrestrial in nature and I think that the “conflicting ” forces are unified at the highest levels in the chain of command. Evil appears to be a polydimensional unified force in which those at the highest levels of power in any dimension or organization […] Read More
The Ho-IX Maximum Speed 600+ mph Kenneth Arnold and his drawing of what he saw in 1947 Incredible as this operational Horten design was, it did NOT represent the pinnacle of German advanced WWII flight technology. There were a number of brilliant German scientists and engineers working on flying disc-shaped craft, many of which used traditional rocket/jet propulsion techniques…but some apparently used methods far in advance of anything commonly known at that time. Or now, for that matter Dr. Richard Miethe whose group allegedly built saucer craft at Breslau came to Canada after the war and worked on saucer designs with the A.V. Roe Company on a joint American-Canadian project which ‘officially’ produced only a barely functional ‘hovercraft’ type ‘saucer.’ Most researchers today consider […] Read More
Wednesday, February 25, 1942 By Jeff Rense Five years before Roswell, five years before pilot Kenneth Arnold‘s landmark sightings of “flying saucers” in the Pacific Northwest, 3 years before the Battle of the Bulge, two years before D-Day, and years before the so-called “modern UFO era” had officially begun, there was the Battle of Los Angeles, arguably the most sensational, dramatic UFO mass encounter on record. Have you ever heard of the Battle of Los Angeles? Few have. Imagine a visiting spacecraft from another world, or dimension, hovering over a panicked and blacked-out LA in the middle of the night just weeks after Pearl Harbor at the height of WWII fear and paranoia. Imagine how this huge ship, assumed to be some unknown Japanese aircraft, was then attacked as it […] Read More
By Bonnie Meroth news@seacoastonline.com EXETER – Engulfed in the blackness of a late summer night, a teenage Navy recruit walked down the quiet country highway. Suddenly, a huge object loomed above him. Throwing himself to the ground to avoid being hit, he huddled against a stone wall. The blood drained from his face. The time was around 2 a.m. The date was Sept. 3, 1965. Thus began the “Incident at Exeter,” a series of sightings officially qualified as a legitimate visit from an unidentified flying object. In September and October 1965, several sightings in New Hampshire were carefully investigated and documented by local and federal offices. The encounters that night took special precedence over other UFO sightings because of the credibility of Exeter police […] Read More
Roswell: Clashing Visions of the Possible By Michael Swords Roswell is obviously a highly divisive topic in ufology. People accept or reject it, often emotionally, for reasons which seem to the listener unclear, even after patient attention. The possibility of a crashed disk, and the necessary astoundingly successful security required, alternatively violates or coheres with visions of reality held dear by the loudest, and occasionally less civil, discussants. But these deeper visions of reality, or what the writers and speakers of these schools want to believe, remain largely undescribed. This paper would like to pretend for the moment that such individuals and their constricting views of reality are not part of the serious Roswell exploration, as I believe they are not, no matter how […] Read More
Dateline: Tuesday, July 12, 2005 By: STUART MILLER By: Phenomena News Editor Phenomena News Editor, Stuart Miller, talks to Project Beta author Greg Bishop about how many of the cornerstones upon which today’s ufological lore are built had their origins in the fertile minds of military intelligence and the behind-the-scenes spook-brigade. SM: In our prior email correspondence, you commented about a slightly negative review of the book that had appeared on Amazon. GB: The guy gave it five stars but he said he didn’t know if any of it was true and that the premise of the book was that everything about UFOs was made up by the government. He either didn’t read the book or he read it with a preconception that he […] Read More
[The is only one of many files which I intend to upload that substantiate the information contained in my MAJIC. TXT. – Bill Cooper] A series of PROJECT GRUDGE/BLUE BOOK reports have been released over the years in connection with the USAF’s investigation into UFO’s which was supposedly terminated with the release of the Condon report in the late 1960s. Reports 1 through twelve of GRUDGE/BLUE BOOK were generally innocuous and contained no classified or truly sensitive material. There was a final report, #14 which was widely circulated and about which an entire book was written: FLYING SAUCERS: AN ANALYSIS OF THE AIR FORCE PROJECT BLUE BOOK SPECIAL REPORT NO. 14 by Leon Davidson: the fifth edition was published in 1976 by Blue-Book Publishers; […] Read More
